>want to play this game like the old days
>have PS2 and guitar still
>look it up
>its rare and costs $60
Pain. I wish they’d release new games so we could get usb guitars I’d buy it just for that.

>GH1: fricking kino with flaws
>GH2: absolute perfection
>GH3: normalgays take notice
>everything after: dogwater
I loved GH1 and 2 so goddamned much and couldn't believe how quickly GH and RB managed to frick up the very good thing they had going on.
its literally all the same shit
>>GH2: absolute perfection
The songs are still covers so no
Covers are sovl.
gh metallica was based because it was easily the hardest
the metallica one was fun
I agree with the GH games from 3 onwards but what's your gripe with RB? I was plenty happy with it.
MASTER OF PUPPETS IM PULLING YOUR STRINGS
clone hero
Yeah but all the guitars suck. The Xbox ones cost $160 and they’re 20 years old.
There’s still a lot of famous musicians playing guitar like ed Sheeran they could put in for zoomers.
oh yea when i used it i could just plug my xbox drums into the pc didnt think about that.
Just get a PS2 to usb converter.
they don't work well, I don't have a guitar but other accessories for it like the beat mania ones don't work well.
If they make some ultra giga fan favourite song collection edition they can still rake in a lot of cash, but I guess the suits have moved on already.
theyd have to shell out for licensing again
Idk it would be worth it. They could use big names like blink 182, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses and add a couple acoustic/zoomer bands
I’m surprised they don’t release a game every 10 years or something
>still have my original gameboy colour, advanced, advanced sp, ps1, ps2, ps3, xbox, xbox 360, nintendo 64. gamecube, nintendo ds, psp, stack of about 120 games
how much do these go for these days?
Depends on how much you wanna factor in the headache/possible refund scams/settling for local deals you wanna tolerate.
I have 200 transactions across eBay and Mercari buying and selling, and I have never once had a problem.
If you stick to real fricking websites and not "DeShawns Page" on Facebook or "Sneaky Pete's Emporium" on Tik Tok you won't get robbed (because you won't meet in person) and you'll get your item/money.
$30 at fricking gamestop
And that'd be for everything he has
I still have my 360 version and drumset with double pedals and just played this with the bros on new years along with rock band 2/3.
realized I have the modded version of RB3 and gonna start downloading songs to play with the bros again. were so back
>metallica
You need to be 18 years or older to post here.
yeah that zoomer band form 1981
I still have all the Guitar Hero games on PS2. I’m so glad I lived through the rhythm game craze. So fricking kino.
>hardwired/72 seasons update never ever
i hate this timeline...
>Grandpa James' heckin' rifferinoos
Yeah I'll pass
hardwired was good, no, I will not elaborate
Hardwired has a few good songs but it was really underwhelming for me overall.
*Judas Priest
>want to replay these games
>latency calibration
Pickup dj hero 1 and 2 while you're at it. Those games are great.
>turns out the games are perfectly playable in pcsx2 with the "lowest input lag possible frick cpu requirements" setting
only problem is this ps2-to-usb adapter doesn't pick up whammy bar input, i know some do but i've no idea how you'd go about tracking one down
best band on there is Mercyful Fate
Get a ps3 and softmod it and put all the GH/RB games on the hard drive. Its frickin sweet
>pink floyd rejected a guitar hero game because kids should play on real instruments instead
Pain
Thousands of people picked up a guitar because of GH. They're just elitist boomers
As great of a guitar player Gilmour is, the Floyd on guitar hero would be pretty boring.
If you want to feel bad on a Sunday morning. Harmonix actually did get a lot of artists who were initially holdouts because "plastic guitars" when they introduced "Pro" instruments like the Pro-Guitars, Drums and Keytar which could actually teach musicianship. That was the point where a lot of holdouts then changed their tune. They had Rock Band games in production for Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin had got pretty far in production. Then Viacom said it was going to exit video game publishing and the money was gone for those games so both had to be cancelled. Harmonix bought themselves out and got funded by Mad Catz for a while but they never could get the budgets they got under Viacom along with Activision killing the market.
Damn shame. Pink Floyd Rock Band would have been trippy as frick
Gitadora Drums >>> Rock Band Drums > Guitar hero Drums > Guitar Hero guitar > Rock Band Guitar >> Shit >>> Gitadora Guitar/Bass
Put Rocksmith between Gitadora drums and Rock Band drums and it's accurate.
PDP is announcing new guitar this month for Fortnite Rock Band, and basically the only difference is strumming, and I'm sure they'll include that so people buy it as a Rock Band and Guitar Hero controller incase the mode fizzles
>Fortnite Rock Band
what?
Epic bought Harmonix.
Epic then had them recreate Rock Band in Fortnite as "Fortnite Festival"
It uses the same icons and mechanics as Rock Band (with no song transfers :,^) )but they rushed it out so full "legacy" controller support is coming later
Activision charts are fricking trash.

Should I even bother with a chinkshit 360 controller adapter? I miss playing keyboard and my console's dead.
Went on nostalgia trip to scorehero, the good times aren't coming back are they
Just play Rocksmith instead.
