I don't know anything about BG3, but I will say that RT really nails the atmosphere of 40k, from music to visuals to UI. I've only played 6 hours of it so far but that was all in one sitting and I'm hooked. If you like 40k and enjoy seeing more of the "civilian" side of that universe I think it's worth a buy.

There are some bad bugs like getting random archievements or two times in 10h i played i needed to reload becouse the enemy was stuck in combat, but nothing story-related. There is also something like a bug when you flirt with Cassia; she will immediately take it as if you started a romance, but it seems like it commits you to nothing since you can still romance Jae or Yrliet, so maybe it is not even a bug, just confusing. But hey, she has Disney Princess personality; maybe it is just a joke on the owlcat part, who the hell knows?

Small glitches. The biggest one yet is Cassia romance is bugged, in that it progresses too fast, because some idiot typed wrong numbers in her approval gains. And her model bugs out when she equips a sniper rifle. Stupid shit like that. But I expect some real shenanigans once we get past beta-tested Act 3.

Not much tbh. Ive had the Achievements bug and then a few times during a specific "boss" battle where my lads would get stuck before they'd execute their attack, seemingly forever. Ironically submitting a bug report fixed it the second time and I never had it again. Also had one or two times where you can't set your formation pre-combat.

You collect those to fill out cargo bays and when it's full you can sell it to a faction to build up reputation and profit factor so just spam loot everything you should be able to do that

The trading system is... bizarre. You essentially put all those knicknacks to cargo and then sell it to one of the big shot buyers. After few transactions, you can buy shit from them. It's a bit overcomplicated, if you just want to sell one fricking rifle.

I think the idea is you put all your random crap into storage on the ship so it becomes cargo, once you have enough of a type you can sell that for reputation and profit factor.
That ship you can see in the sector map, the one in the bottom right corner, has one of the factions on it. They don't have much to offer at the lowest rep level, but the item they have at the maximum one will likely be of use to Officers. It gives whichever ally you use Bring it Down on an extra AP.
My biggest issue right now is there's no button to immediately make the party halt. I've lost track of how many times I've discovered a trap and immediately started making the party walk away from it after it pauses, only to have them blunder right into it anyways.

Dual wielding revolvers doesn't seem to be doing anything unless there is a trait which allows shooting both.
There's an attribute on level up called dual wielding that allows you to attack withyour offhand weapon as well

First you must find Tio Peladus, the master of the black market.
Meet a Faction and trade with them, first is the Voidship next to the planet to the rightmost, there's another in the last planet of the first map after you deal with a boss there
Later you can speak with Factotum Janris something on the ship to trade with the factions instead of having to meet their npcs again

Yes.
You press rapid fire and the character shoots everything in a cone randomly several times.
Bolter can fire single shots or bursts, some of the auto-guns work similarly and others only have burst fire as their only setting.
If I got anything from this game it's that gender doesn't matter in grim dark future because everyone is too busy fighting for their life.

Ciaphis Cain and Gaunt's Ghost if you want Imperial stories. The Infinite and the Divine is a fun read about Necrons. Avoid Horus Heresy like the plague. Deff Skwadron is a comic but really should be considered required reading.

Horus Heresy is a very long series so don't recommend more than the first three if just starting out.
The original RPGs (Rogue Trader, Dark Heresy, Deathwatch, Only War, Black Crusade) are very good introductions, if you want fiction books, Dan Abnett's work (Eisenhorn, Ravenor, Brothers of the Snake, Gaunt's Ghosts series and Double Eagle, among others) is usually at least readable. Sandy Mitchell's Ciaphas Cain series gets pretty samey if you read them all in one go, but is worth a look. He also wrote a Dark Heresy tie-in novel. I liked Matt Farrer's Shira Calpurnia Enforcer novels, about a law enforcement officer. Simon Spurrier's Lord of Night and Aaron Dembski Bowden both wrote books about Night Lords Chaos Marines that are pretty good. Gordon Rennie's two books set in the Gothic War, Execution Hour and Shadow Point would be good for Rogue Trader fans, as its all set on board spaceships. I've had people recommend the Fabius Bile books, but I've not read them myself.

All of the older Inferno / Warhammer Monthly comics by 2000AD staff are good, and even the recent ones are OK. Seek out Titan: God Machine, The Redeemer and Bloodquest especially.
Not in Horus Heresy. Most of the books are dogshit and only exist for writers to wank about their OCs or the Primarchs. It's done irreperable damage to 40k as a whole. Stick to games instead. Dawn of War, Battlefleet Gothic, and now Rogue Trader give a decently wide view of things.

Ranged seems better because it's less AP intensive.
You want to use at least 2 AP every turn to give commands.

If you like text heavy games and dont mind shifting through 50+ talents on every level up, then yeah, go for it. The game does a pretty good job of explaining the lore

If so: Yes. The game has a large encyclopedia and you can hover over almost all names, titles etc to get them explained to you. If you know the basics of 40k, and with a bit of reading, you will be fine.
It's fun and the writing+performances are good. I'd recommend it.
Which basic archetype do you recommend to complement your companions. I skimmed over their roles and noticed alot of them were operatives/officers. Which is a bummer since I was planning on a crimelord/operative RT. But I don't want to many overlapping roles, soldier looks nice but it locks me out of Fel and Int advances, which I feel is a approriate for the PC/Crimelord, until lvl 16. Any suggestions for my predicament ?
I can say you get 2 ops pretty early so a 3rd might be excessive. Every class seems to have some support abilities or be able to support in some way.

You can respec. And dialogue skills use whole party like in wotr.
There's 2 different companions of each basic archetypes with more Operatives and less Soldiers early.
I think having multiples of same archetype is fine, you will end up doing it anyway to cover different skills.
You probably don't want to have several psykers in the team because of how warp works, 2 is already pushing it.

Companions are suppose to be pleasant or at least fun to be with. She's none of that.
I can guarantee you that if she were white you guys wouldn't be so harsh on her. Like saying how loud she is when so far the only dialogue in which she's been loud is when she sees that the person who saved her is dead or when the warp is about to swallow the ship whole and her mind is fraying at the edges. In the second case she also pulls herself together quite quickly.

Use the Senechal with his regen ability to tank the Tzeentch demons while everyone else buffs him. I've killed like three Pysker tzeentch demons this way, because half my party members are psykers and i have shitty Warp peril reduction.

Going by how Owlcat did their previous games you can do all the romance you qualify for at once but eventually you'll hit a point late in the game where your forced to lock one in.

Vanguard Officer is gonna be sweet with the ability that gives me +5 Fel for the rest of the fight every time I attack something, doubly sweet once I can get lead from the front and can buff myself with officer abilities.
