How the frick is Nintendo able to keep pumping these things out, isn't this like the third Wario Ware game in this fricking console alone?

Pretty sure it only had one game, these games must be cheap as hell to develop.

It’s only the second Warioware on Switch calm down, that’s less that amount of FEslop

I wonder how it will sell, since it doesn’t have to compete with Mario Party anymore

Gold did that badly? What the hell, the 3DS had a huge install base by that point. I get why G&W did so bad but what went wrong here?

          Anonymous

Released far too late into the 3DS' lifetime
Also it was marketed as a compilation game rather than a new title like the other Mario Party game around the time so that affected the perception

They need to give the Land series a chance on Switch, same with F-Zero, Starfox, Golden Sun etc. since the Switch is their highest selling console and has a big userbase, for frick sakes Advance Wars got a game on Switch

didnt that game not sell well
like it didnt bomb but i dont think it made a splash

Because the only good Warioland is 4.
1 just feels like Mario with a ground pound attack and Wario takes up more of the screen
2 is a very dull platformer
3 is a bloated mess of constantly unlocking extra paths in other levels complete with spending 2/3 of the game unlocking Wario's base moveset from 2.
World is decent but no one seems like it
          Disguise was just bad
Shake-It's level design is boring as absolute frick

I'm so fricking hyped for this one. Get it together was beyond abysmal. Going for a high score in that game resulted simply on how long could I go without getting 9 volt or some other character that was clearly not built to clear a level 60+ stage.

GiT was so good but saw barely any discussion about it. Doubly shame it was so complex with the character mechanics, it takes too long to explain before you do any couch co-op which is the opposite of warioware.

        Anonymous

We got good threads for the first week or so but there just isn't much discussion to be had for games like these. Warioware Gold threads persisted a bit better in the 3DS days however because the game was more story oriented and brought voice acting so there was more to talk about

      Anonymous

Me, I didn't find it as fun as gold and smooth moves though, the way the game works makes what the microgames can do really limited, the best warioware games are to ones that have you play in different ways

All WarioWares should be launch titles. They are the perfect candidates for one since they always show off the hardware gimmick. It's why Touched! and Smooth Moves sold so well, they were released in the beginning of the consoles life.

Ever since Gold they've been releasing them too late

I liked playing as penny because she was cute. But god damn was her minigames a b***h to play

      Anonymous

The minigames were fine on average, but having to design them around so many different playstyles led to some problems where a minigame, at a hard difficulty and decently fast speed, could be almost impossible with a certain character. 9-Volt was the worst about it, where sometimes you might only get one shot early on and then the minigame would be unwinnable.
