    yes but also consider this
    >do Joshua's ending first
    >ok he seems kinda extreme here
    >do the other ending
    >speech check the white legs leader
    >he says he'll be back again
literally blew his head open after he ran past me, Joshua was right about them

      see
It is said to you multiple times in dialogue with different characters that the tribes there are basically feral animals and would kill anything that isn't their own in an instant. Joshua and Caesar helped uplift them from some defenseless tribe to something that could defend themselves. Obviously the ones outside that influence are still savage animals that need to be killed, Joshua was doing the most feasible thing he could do instead of attempting to talk to the braindead tribes and risk getting wiped out. In the end he was right in his decision.

nah he was just looking for a place to chill out and find a will to live and the white legs came just in time to sastify his burning anguish. he doesnt care about the new cannite or the dead horse

Joshua was literally a Mormon missionary before he met Caesar. The whole Mormon thing isn't a facade.

yeah but it feels like he was born into it rather than choosing that life for himself. Daniel is definitely one. The writers even got him right down to the cold, calculating characteristic of those bastards.

              Anonymous

Daniel wasn't a Legate for Caesar and thrown into the Grand Canyon on fire though. Daniel is soi and doesn't understand the reality of the world they live in. If they listened to Daniel they would have all died. Joshua was like Daniel before he met Caesar.

Mormonism is apart of the New Canaanites but neither Jed Masterson or Joshua or even the tribes they mentor say they try to force it onto others or themselves. The tribes wellbeing comes first and Joshua even says theres things he and Daniel and the surviving NC (that we dont see) disagree on things. They aren't fanatics to Mormonism, its just apart of their culture at that point in Fallouts universe.

Yes but its pretty slow. The Bible is massive, and the AI only allows 100,000 characters a month.
So far only Romans is completed. Genesis, Luke, and Revelation are semi complete, and I think an anon did a couple Psalms. It'll be a slow process, but it might be done within a year if anons manage to stay dedicated to it.

Thing is though is that if we want this shit done by the end of the year, people would have to start paying for the subscription fee and the KJV Bible has roughly 3,200,000 characters. The cheapest one to get gives you 100,000 characters a month ($22/mo)

That's easy to condemn while living in a relatively cushy world. Joshua lives in a setting where he had to be molded into a killer to make it through. Yet he's also a thinking man, and sought a purpose behind what he does. It works well enough for him, and a bunch of naive tribals are somewhat protected from a group of brutal savages. What's there to object to?

Remember, O Lord, The Children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem who said, "Raze it, raze it, even to the foundation." O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed. How happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.
Seriously what does he mean by this, anyone know the Bible well enough to explain?

There was a reason he was Caesar's right hand man for 30 years. Getting burned alive and thrown off a cliff actually calmed him down a lot and gave him some perspective, but he still had some wrath left in him. It's only after Honest Hearts that he (possibly) lets go of his wrath and finds some peace.

What Mormonism? Nothing he says or does references Mormonism or the Book of Mormon outside of telling you a Mormon invented the 1911. If you weren't told he was a Mormon you'd never know it from him, he's just another Old Testament quoting fire and brimstone Christian.

Friendly reminder that Ulysses was the one who led the White Legs in destroying New Canaan for Caesar and specifically urged them to annihilate their culture and history.

Ulysses was the one who told Elijah about the Sierra Madre. Ulysses was the one who discovered Hoover Dam and started the entire Legion/NCR war.

Being the biggest possible hypocrite for calling out the Courier for the unforseen consequences of their actions after all he's responsible for is part of his character.

        >Ulysses was the one who discovered Hoover Dam and started the entire Legion/NCR war.

Well, in fairness, they would've run into each other eventually. Honestly, the war starting a bit early was probably to the benefit of the NCR, since otherwise the Legion would've just continued snowballing out east until it was unstoppable and Mr House would've had easier access to the Fortification Hill bunker.

Ceasar would have died from his brain tumor and the Legion would have imploded and likely balkanized.

For me its breaking their spirit and letting the warchief live. Their walk of shame back to the Great Salt Lake is further compounded by the 88s dabbing on their already shattered forces dwindling their numbers further. In the final days Salt-Upon-Wounds ruminates over his people dying of hunger before they are eventually swallowed up by the world.
