30 dollar one was clearly a joke about the remakes getting some kind of DLC to expand the lore, then someone said event distributions were basically DLC's, then someone claimed DLC must be paid which is obviously not true.

It's not really DLC because you're not downloading any additional content that isn't already in the game.
Victini can give power to people and Pokémon, a power that evil humans can abuse. Victini’s prior Trainer bought the island to protect it from being abused. Team Plasma was there to get that power for themselves.

You can get all the gen 4 and 5 events without cheating. Just change your network's DNS and you can get the mystery gifts.
How is this different from injecting wondercards?
You din't have to modify your save file, everything is being handled as the original distribution. How is it "cheating"?
