Yes, 1 and 2 are great. 3 sucked but it was the best game of the three that actually showed the outcome of your actions with the king arc. Shame that the next one is gonna be the most horrid thing to exist.
Fable was good.
The Lost Chapters was good. (with the exception of changing Jack's voice.)
Anniversary is just okay. Functionally it's the same but the new visuals are terrible. If you're on PC you can mod them but then you'd be better off just playing TLC.
1 is an absolute masterpiece. Anniversary remaster too, people who pretend they're different games are autistic
2 is already bad. Xbox fanboys pretend it was good because it is an exclusive, just like playstation fans defend their corridor movie games because they're exclusive. The game is "meh" at best
3 is the biggest piece of dog shit I had the displeasure of touching in my whole life, you can easily find worst games on a technical standpoint, but for me personally it was THE WORST game I have ever played in my life, probably because I liked the first so much. I want to find whoever thought having nothing but a fireball for like two hours of game was a good idea and strangle him
> Anniversary remaster too, people who pretend they're different games are autistic.
Eh I think the complaints are pretty valid. It mostly has to do with the artstyle and lighting system in anniversary making everything look washed out and like molten wax. You don’t need to be autistic to notice that.
It's a lot of fun. Good combat, great OST, and it's full of soul. Probably overshadowed by all of the lies from the developer about what would be in the game.
Peter Molyneux was a developer that overpromised on every game. I remember him saying Fable would have trees growing in real time and that if you killed someone his son would grow up and try to kill you later. Then the game came out and even though it was good it didn't have any of the stuff he said would be in it.
the best part was to marry that rich lady, whatever her name was, and then pin her in a corner in her room and beat her infinitely for free exp. I think she was the only wife that was indestructible.
Fable 1 was a good game, for its time. Its really been outclassed in every way by newer games and ten years ago I would have said could use a remake but now needs so much fixed up to come to modern standards for video games it would mean making a whole new game.
Fable 2 is supposedly a good game with a shitty rushed final half that I never played, but completely shit up the lore of Fable so it could add guns n steampunk shit.
Fable 3 was all ass and an embarrassment.
The original remake of Fable fricked up the anime inspired artstyle for a disgusting as frick more realistic look.
the original? no
the remake? yes
bait
Are you talking about fable lost chapters?

1-good but way too short
2- great
3- bleh

>If you're on PC you can mod them
doesn't help
best of the series
what's wrong with the remake?
1 was great, and I am inclined to say 2 was also but it's been like a decade or more since I played it.
I've never played a game with such a weird, violent and magical atmosphere like the original Xbox version

Does he still make gamed? Haven't heard him mentioned in years
Tried really hard to make NFTs and shit work in video games.
whichever one had the master chief armor was the best one
It's only good on an original Xbox for some reason. I tried playing the lost chapters or whatever it's called and it just wasn't the same
No, they over promised what it would be and completely under delivered. It was a fricking joke of a game compared to what it was supposed to be.
Fable 1 in all iterations was amazing.
Played OG on xbox on release. The Lost Chapters on xbox on release.
PC TLC when I was feeling the nostalgia bomb.
Then the remake once again in like 2021.
Frick yea time to reinstall.
Played this as a kid with no exposure to the advertising or hype, had a blast
Dunno how it would hold up playing again as an adult
