Yeah, I didn't get a switch till recently and never played botw. Totk is a great "oh piece of candy" game for when I'm actually trying to relax and not get sweaty or frustrated
Picture the greatest game you've ever played. Now imagine they released a sequel that added to and improved everything about it with the only drawback being they used the same world map (everything on it was changed but the geography is the same).
>the greatest game you've ever played
My favorite games have skippable, or even non-existent, tutorials, and don't force me to care about a moronic story that involves a braindead princess or useless NPCs. At the least I'm not forced to babysit useless npcs in my favorite games. I can just slice them into ribbons. Can I do that in BOTW or TOTK?
>Your telling me a million screaming fans are never wrong >I'm telling you a million screaming fans are fricking morons
Bg3 is absolute garbage and I don't even need to play it to know it. From praise to criticisms and even lukewarm statements all I hear about it is sex sex sex, genitals, beastiality and monster sex. It's /b/ the game, let me know when Andy sixx shows up
>doesn't do anything of note >gets to piss off the whole game >gets all the credit for saving the world >don't get to violently backhand her for being useless and annoying
It's literally the only game in existence with reason to be 70 dollars. It's a full price game that needed a more expensive card unlike the shitty cheapo discs that don't even have the game on them.
Should've released 4 years ago for $20, but knowing what I know now I wouldn't have bought it even if it were. This game blows ass, a disgrace to the series.
No, I've said it before and I'll keep saying it but Breath of the Wild was completely new. Every region you visited was something you were witnessing for the first time, then cut to Tears of the Kingdom. Sky islands? Majority of them with the same formatting/structure, especially the ones with the rotating piston that fires you off to a little korok island - there's like 15 of them almost copy and pasted in the sky. There's a few islands that are unique, like the sky forge area and the 3 "temples" of the game. Then we have caves, it was nice they made each of the 5 regions underground areas compliment them - blue, wet stone in zora's domain. seering heat and black rock in death mountain. sandstone and quicksand for gerudo desert, etc etc. But once you see them for the first time, they get boring and repetitive quick. Then we have the depths, god damn what a huge fricking disappointment. Sure it can be creepy at times when you're first starting out but it quickly loses that sense after you start lighting up the areas and what is there to see once the lightroots are active? The same of what you just saw for the past hour, great work Nintendo. Couldn't even theme the areas to match the over world, although I will give them props for doing it ONCE for death mountain and the temple
My point being that when BotW my mind was set on >wow that looks amazing!
Then when I played TotK it changed to >oh look, there's that area again but it's slightly different.. cool i guess..
None of the new content was enough to make me like it enough to consider it a good game, it really was a glorified, over priced DLC and this is coming from a long time Zelda fan who's been playing every game in the franchise since A Link to the Past released for the SNES
i paid $0 and can't even bring myself to finish it. i guess if you really loved botw and want the exact same thing for another hundred hours. but botw also took me a while because i have no investment in the story
Yes
/thread
elaborate
it is good
Only if you didn't but the first one.
Yeah, I didn't get a switch till recently and never played botw. Totk is a great "oh piece of candy" game for when I'm actually trying to relax and not get sweaty or frustrated
>greatest game of all time
yeah probably
game of all time
How? It just seems like more of the first one.
Picture the greatest game you've ever played. Now imagine they released a sequel that added to and improved everything about it with the only drawback being they used the same world map (everything on it was changed but the geography is the same).
Would you pay full price for it?
Yeah, too bad I've never played either of those games.
>Picture the greatest game you've ever played
Yeah I cant picture botw/totk now.
>the greatest game you've ever played

You're not seriously saying BotW is the greatest game ever, right? That game is a glorified tech demo.
Oh great, another BG3 thread.
No
Not bad, just too much for a copy of BoTW + $20 DLC
frick no. especially if you played botw, you just paid 70$ for DLC. wait for it to go on sale or find other ways.
yes
Armored Core is a movie game
I didn't even have to post for someone to pre-emptively get angry at me.
>doesn't deny it
I don't need to deny it, because it's wrong by default.
I disagree
That's your prerogative I suppose.
Meant for
No, most games aren't that TotK was a $50 game at best. Still is still saying a lot because I'd put Metroid Dread at a $30 game.
Damn, I stroked out while typing that. I'm seething with rage at the thought of TotK being worth $70 apparently.
Not a chance.
You can get way better elf waifus and way better games for less money.
zelda doesn't have drag queens
Doesn't the main villain literally crossdress as zelda to trick Link?
||it's a projection. Ganon never truly leaves the depths.||
Pretty sure Link disproves that theory lmao.
>literally removes the outfit
>gives the fujos favorite character a wife
>mocks trannies

>good new 60 dollar game that needed a 32 GB card
Yes.
Like 50$ or 60$ my kid likes playing it too though so the price was worth it for me
Yes, you could earn 70 dollars if you spend the same amount of time you make posts about it.
You have paid your 70 dollars indirectly.
If you have a job and and a normal sized penis yes, otherwise you'll nitpick every small detail and cry about it in tibetan basket weaving forums
>fixes literally everything about botw
Yeah it's pretty great
Yes.
What do the females look like in that game? Are they ESG approved?
Zelda is definitely ESG approved.
>doesn't do anything of note
>gets to piss off the whole game
>gets all the credit for saving the world
>don't get to violently backhand her for being useless and annoying
No, couldn't even finish the game and I didn't even pay for it.
>YEAH BRO YOU GOTTA BUY THIS GAEM FOR 70 DORRA
>"why?"
>BRO STFU JUST BUY IT ALREADY
It's literally the only game in existence with reason to be 70 dollars. It's a full price game that needed a more expensive card unlike the shitty cheapo discs that don't even have the game on them.
why shouldn't i just emulate it though?
Should've released 4 years ago for $20, but knowing what I know now I wouldn't have bought it even if it were. This game blows ass, a disgrace to the series.
I bought it for $50, so yes
I played the game for over 100 hours and I have pretty much no memories of it. It just kinda leaves no impression.
Yeah, sure. I got about 120 hours in it.

It's like 52 bucks right now on Amazon, literally no reason to not buy it if the full price is stopping you.
But no, it was not worth 70 dlls when it launched. I still enjoyed it nonetheless.
i paid $0 and can't even bring myself to finish it. i guess if you really loved botw and want the exact same thing for another hundred hours. but botw also took me a while because i have no investment in the story
>bragging about an 8/10
Not exactly what you want to use to advertise a game that's $70 + tip.
no game is worth 70$
If that's your stance, never import games from Grorious Nippon, and especially never collect retro stuff. lol. $70 ain't shit.
grab a coin like a chad.
I can't finish it. It's just too boring.
most overrated games in recent history if not ever
Finished it today and yes it was didn't pay for it and not going to though lol
It's free to emulate, and I can run it at 4K resolution or 60 fps. Imagine paying for a worse experience.
only a vocal minority on Ganker like this game
it's really a bad game
friendly reminder you should ONLY pirate games you own.
