Was modding games a mistake? Should we have let video games stay exclusively on consoles where it's significantly harder to make mods, and much more time consuming to install them?

Mods are a waste of time and God's punishment to modders for interfering with the artists vision is troonyification. Mods that "fix" games more often than not will just ruin your experience. Time saver mods for certain games do not count. I'd call them cheats more than anything but i do take them as better than any other mods.
