I wouldn't say rushed but it was a little underwhelming, especially after the false ending fakeout wich was neat af tbh even though it implied the story would be continued in dlcs, which trigges Ganker I guess.
Great game overall, though. Looks amazing and the OST's top notch.
You go in a straight line, fight like 15 generic enemies, and then press a single button. Game over.
As much as I liked Control with regard to its fundamentals, it did seem a bit half-baked and really struggling with execution. It introduced a wealth of concepts that could've been utilized for bigger things, and then it just didn't have any of them pay off.
All the guns are shit, and the setting is more interesting than the plot. >weirdo SCP office maze >protag just wants to find her brother >she finds him and thats it >guns are shit >all the powers are TK related, nothing weirder than that >MMO grind missions in a single player shooter >enemy variety stinks
Its just so strange. They have this amazing setting, and a lot of really good writing surrounding the anomalies, but you don't have any meaningful way to interact with any of it. You're literally just there to shoot bad guys and get your brother. There's no insane weirdo twist concerning the anomalies or weirdspace. Like, you become the director but the protag largely ignores this fact, it doesn't play into the plot at all. I'd be like playing dead space but you never have fight a necromorph, you just go to the Ishimura to fix a satellite and then leave.
remedy needs to stop memeing with all these super power wielding cinematic experiences and just make good third person shooters again
alan wake was alright i guess but quantum break is only remembered for having le cia man and then you have this shit
Most of the game is padded out, repetitive and uninspired. The execution didn't deserve more than 6-8 hours.

this, and it's a prequel for alan wake 2 too
This. The game is a 6/10 tech demo.

it was a directionless excuse to drop manfaced wymyn protagonist game at the right moment to the market. that's all.
8 hours left of the pre-halloween sale btw
I liked it. The whole game is just a regular day at the office.
i dont remember the ending but i do remember really enjoying the game.

The gameplay and plot were horrible but the atmosphere was fricking top notch.

Its the worst remedy game
Nah that would be Quantum Break.
Control is still bad though
