Their team has previous Daggefall developers, so I believe they are truly invested into finishing it. This time they also added boats, forests and towns.
I hope soon, they clearly got work done. They have been more active recently with the videos, I believe since they finished the procedural part, they are focusing now with the models and making all the systems work together.
This is their first one, if you compare both devlogs you can see the ui upgrade and the new environments.
This one is more recent, is about their weather system.
Last time I looked at this the graphics seemed really simple, which is good, meant they were focusing on the whole procedural generation and systems instead.
But this trailer looks a little too good and it's making me worried. This is never going to release if they're chasing that sort of fidelity.
>the stuttering when walking forward >the stuttering when looking around too fast and the blur effect doesn't kick in >the stuttering when the camera flies by
jesus, if they wanted to showcase the graphic effects why would they capture the video on a hardware that cannot handle it
The game looks ugly but the tech and ambition is what makes it good. Also, that dialogue system is literally Morrowind - very nice. Is Julian still involved in that game?
>Greetings warrior! Might you be interested in earning some coin?
For video talking about dialogues they could've bothered writing an actually good dialogue, instead of high school-level drivel.
Julian LeFay's low-energy 1 percent contribution to the gamer world is still a million times more valuable than Todd's mass-manufactured slop. Todd Howards should be pay Julian LeFay royalties, in spite of the fact none of his fake elder scrolls games are worth playing at all

This and Dragon's Dogma 2 are about the only RPGs I can think of to be hopeful for
Looks cool. Thanks for posting, anon.
Any guess when it'll be done? Few years? Pretty funny if it comes out before TES6.
Unfortunately never

hopefully it won't fall into TES series pitfalls

because hardware that can make it run smoothly just isn't available yet
because they are incompetent
Checked, moron. It is in pre-alpha.
it has all the red flags of a game that will never be completed lol
Stupid morons can't understand the concept of a work in progress.

Yes I think it’s basically Julian’s company

It's called soul,
you wouldn't get it.
Glad that Unreal 5 allows smaller teams to create games like this, looks quite good so far.
I thought it was their own engine, can't ue5 just do terrain gen on it's own already? So they've basically done nothing?
Watch their first devlog.
So they've done literally nothing.

Simulationist vaporware
Like the processes in your brain.
Isn't Wayward Realms that pixel text adventure? Why on earth would you make a 3D version of a text-based game? For what purpose?
Nvm it's actually the RPG I have wishlisted.
