I'm speaking for all the Diablo 4 haters here, and I'm sorry for all the bad things we've said about this game. They've actually fixed many of its problems with S1, and they're gonna refine it even more now with S2; I must admit that it has reached D2 levels of fun gameplay (even tho D2 gets a bit overrated by the community for the nostalgia factor), and the end game is so much better now; also, they're constantly listening to the gamers community for their improvements. In the name of everyone who has heavily criticized this game before, I say "we're sorry".

I don't "hate" D4, but playing the beta, there wasn't much fun. In a time where so many new games come out why would I want to slog through a game I won't enjoy?
That's the problem with always online, they got to hall monitor everything and try to balance things so nobody is overpowered. The whole point of these games is to get overpowered and rock things, that's impossible when they nerf things to the ground. Same with PoE, same with any other always online game.
I'd buy a 200$ legendary edition of offline PoE or D4 today if it was for sell. Because I know I could edit shit and mod things to actually make something fun. But when the games are in the dev's hands. No fun allowed.

nah it's still dogshit, there's literally nothing to do after hitting level 70, it's boring as shit.
Nightmare dungeons are trash, the objectives are tedious, pvp is for autists, open world content is repetitive and formulaic.
Nothing feel natural about this game, it's like running from arcade event to arcade event.
If you like this game you have 0 pattern recognition, it's fun for the first 20-30 hours, then you see right through it and it becomes a predictable drag.
