What was Australia thinking?

That little homosexual
with the earings and the makup
Yeah buddy that's his own thing.
It's "Yeah buddy, that's his own hair"
He's a millionaire.
How do you know this is an Australian rather than New Zealand, US, or UK Commercial?
The commercial that followed it with the strong Aussie accent.
There's also this one where some kid pisses off the Nintendo gods by beating Mario and is sentenced to death.
>Sentenced to death.
Wow, smashed through the ceiling with a rocket chair, that's pretty harsh.
Do you have the Master System one that used to be on VHS tapes?
I don't remember seeing any SMS ads on tapes so I don't know what ad to look for sorry.
Oh, well, I found this one but I seem to remember a slightly different one, https://youtu.be/-v4CCcXq5h4 . T
I used to have this commercial in one of my playlists. Good times...
The ones I remember the most from my youth are probably the Smash 64 commercial and the Mario Got Milk commercial.
Fricking hate/love that game. I first played it on MagicEngine in 1997 and loved them gameplay but I can't into NipNong so I have no idea wtf the strokes are selling at me and never got any further than the second stage.
Hany in the Sky got a translation (but the fan translator hadn't played the second game in the series to see how to romanize the main character's name (a play off of the words "honey" + "haniwa" = "Hany" (spelled out in Roman characters, with his sidekick "Lemon", in the sequel), so he misspells it as "Honey in the Sky"): https://cdromance.org/turbografx-16/hanii-in-the-sky-japan/
Danke schön, fren. I can finally play it properly (and possibly beat it, too).
I downloaded so many tg16 games when I discovered emulation, both games I owned already and ones I'd never played before and loved most of them, despite not being able to read nipnong. I really liked the Shockman sequel for SFC, btw.
NES commercials have a lot of "this game is really, really hard and, basically, you're too shitty to beat it"
Woah, Minecraft Steve is that old?
Reminder that none of these ads are real, difficulty was never a marketing point, games were only hard because of rentals, to sell strategy guides, because of poor testing, to artificially inflate the length, and because the devs were too good at their own games
this is what people these days actually tell themselves
I don't think anyone else picked up on your facetiousness but I did
Worst. Commercial. Ever.
So who the frick is that dude anyway, the guy from circuit city who sold you the console? Why's he being such a c**t?
He is Nintendo
