So many of them don't give a single flying frick about making a classic game. Nickle and Dime, be lazy as humanly possible in the output of quality. No soul, especially.

The issue is that AAA UX designers are just shit at their job. Or possibly that sanded-down mass-appeal design-by-committee UI is the best fit for sanded-down mass-appeal design-by-committee games.
Because triple-A don't have the kinds of issues I was talking about there. It's not the fingerless-gloves meter problem, it's "game is pixel art but all the text is anti-aliased high-res".
Then again the FF Pixel Remaster had that problem too so maybe you're right.
