I've played both games, AC6 implements NG+ better.
In Starfield NG+ can give you one (1) scene that changes. This is random, has a small chance of happening and nothing about it has any larger effect on the games plot.
Additionally, you get a few [Starborn] dialog options that let you skip quests or parts of them (funny thing is, even if you've never done the quest before, you can still use this dialog option to skip it). None of the quests change though, and there is no new content in NG+. You simply can skip some things you don't feel like repeating.
In AC6 once you hit NG+ and NG++ many new things unlock, a lot of missions change and new missions unlock. In NG++ the entire story changes including a new final boss and ending.
From the runner-ups, I can tell you that Your Only Move is Hustle has gameplay that is way out there and unorthodox. The award is just for bragging rights, but Starfield so does not deserve those, not for this category.

Having people not only beta test your game like most games does these days, but actually develop and create most of the game for you, seems like a very innovating idea.
Except that's not something Starfield specifically did as "innovation" Hell there's still no devkit out yet. People are bankrolling on this idea that it will be saved by mods, but in order for mods to come into fruition, you have to have a general interest in the world itself.
I find it funny that people sink 200 hours into this game and come out with bad footage montages that are shorter than the time I have to wait at the start of every Tarkov match as the game waits for every fricking slav with a 22RPM hard drive to finishing loading.

It is innovative for an open world RPG to have mechanics like that. Space Engineers does ship building better but that's the main focus of the game.
Additionally, the orbit and atmosphere simulation was really good, and the proc-gen is a huge innovation for Bethesda, not so much for the industry itself.

I've played both games, AC6 implements NG+ better.
In Starfield NG+ can give you one (1) scene that changes. This is random, has a small chance of happening and nothing about it has any larger effect on the games plot.
Additionally, you get a few [Starborn] dialog options that let you skip quests or parts of them (funny thing is, even if you've never done the quest before, you can still use this dialog option to skip it). None of the quests change though, and there is no new content in NG+. You simply can skip some things you don't feel like repeating.
In AC6 once you hit NG+ and NG++ many new things unlock, a lot of missions change and new missions unlock. In NG++ the entire story changes including a new final boss and ending.
AC6 does it better.

It is innovative for an open world RPG to have mechanics like that. Space Engineers does ship building better but that's the main focus of the game.
Additionally, the orbit and atmosphere simulation was really good, and the proc-gen is a huge innovation for Bethesda, not so much for the industry itself.

I love smoking cigarettes, its very relaxing and meditative for me. I dont mix well with weed, drugs or alcohol. Cigarettes are all that does it for me. Some of my best thoughts I've had while siting outside smoking a cigarette and enjoying nature.

I think the game is great. My helper from my nursing home lets me play the Starfield after I eat my lunch. It makes me feel like the first time I saw the moon landing in 1969 when I was still a young 21 year old.

If you make the mistake of buying this game, you will immediately regret your decision because playing it immediately feels like work. If you are still morbidly curious and have not played already, your best bet is to already own an Xbox, buy one month of gamepass, turn off the renewing subscription, play until you get too bored or annoyed to continue (5-20 hours), and never pick it up again. How unendingly awful this game is simply cannot be overstated. Save yourself the suffering, the annoyance, the lecturing. Save yourself from the braindead writing, and stay away. It's not worth it.
