well sucks to suck because valve is stuborn to the bone and will not give you csgo back
just wait like a year and everything will be ported over anyway
this.
i dropped csgo and cs in general because of how broken it was the first year
it's my biggest regret after not keeping my laptop mining bitcoin all my college campus life after i tried it out for an hour in 2009
No map specific factions.
Not a single new map.
Less maps than CSGO used to have before being shutdown, and that's despite the fact Valve constantly kept removing maps from GO.
Only 3 game modes total.
The MOST anti consumer? Really? Even if you're being hyperbolic this is absolutely moronic.
Yeah sucks for the potato pc players that they're forced to real with the reality that GO got poofed. And obviously there are issues with the game... But for no additional costs, skins carrying over... You know damn well you can name 10 game companies that do worse than that without even thinking for 5 seconds.
shup up 3rd world homosexual, nobody cares your pentium 3 cant run it, now you either upgrade and let it grow or you frick off, favela Black person monkey.
>same shit netcode >over a decade of modding anihilated >less game modes >full of bugs >compiling even primitive maps in hammer hours
Source 2 was originally marketed to allow modders and the community to make content for Valve titles with ease with workshop integration.
CS2 is a complete failure in every capacity.
Just make sure you're reporting players and don't be a moron to get your trust score up. I've got something like 150 games played and I've never come across anyone cheating.
We did ask for Valve to honor their existing word to the community.
Valve screwed over the Artifact fanbase by cancelling the Artifact 2.0 beta without even allowing users to invite friends like they said they would in January 2021 and does not deserve your financial support for these gross consumer-unfriendly practices.
>Install cs2 after quitting when Valve removed bots from matchmaking >Queue a game >I top frag despite not playing for 2+ years >Someone disconnects on my team midway >Never returns >Lose the rest of the match >Almost every round came down to 1 person left alive on the enemy team >Immediately remember why I quit the game >Leave and uninstall
Yeah, no thanks. Even if the bugs get fixed and old content gets re-added, removing bots from matchmaking will make me never fricking ever take the game seriously since 1 player fricking off means automatic lose. Utter waste of time to play this dogshit.
>1 player fricking off means automatic lose
???
The shorthanded income you get pretty much guarantees that you and your teammates can get a rifle and kevlar each round no matter how you play which is an absolutely huge advantage as long as you or the people in your team aren't complete dogshit in the game.
Granted, it takes way too long for the shorthanded income to activate, I still think it is a better way to go about things than having a bot and possibly giving a player two lives during a round
The novelty has worn off and I'm not having fun.
Movement is terrible and every so often I slide all over
I get run and gun'd way too much
People kill you behind walls still
Neither peeking or holding angles feels fair
The smokes are shit and you can't be sneaky anymore, not talking about the grenading but the shooting through
NO ASSAULT OR MILITIA
CSGO had problems like sometimes I'd die behind cover, but It generally felt way more responsive and nice. We're going to be stuck with this shit for a decade.
>get run and gun'd way too much
Translation: i missed 5 shots in a row and then he one tapped me while running within 2 inches of my dick and thats valves fault
>every so often I slide all over
This happens to me as well, the game just lags out for a split second and it feels like I'm sliding around. It's rather annoying and it only seems to be happening in Premier matches.
It's pretty funny that all Valve had to do to get me more interested in playing the latest iteration of Counter-Strike was to not have lootboxes plastered all over the first screen I see upon booting up the game.
the CSGO fanbase are all pigs who love esport slop and think 5v5 is the best ever. So gay and dumb when you comp shitters were forced to squat in IRC chats for 5v5 crap
I would like to formally thank CSGO players for paying for this shiny new game that I get to enjoy. I can't believe you morons actually played this game in 4:3 stretched to 16:9 for years.
Seems like complete snake oil to me. I want to say I watched a YouTube video where some goober said that the models being wider results in lower latency from the screen to your eyeballs which uh, lol.
Apparently some pro players were the ones to do this first, and the competitive scene copied them. I'm not convinced that it isn't some sort of elaborate prank to see how easily influenced e-sports fans are.
Due to limitations of goldsrc in CS1.6 in regards to fov having locked horizontal value at 90, the only proper way of playing the game was at 4:3. If you played the game at 16:9, you still had horizontal fov 90 with decreased vertical fov and the screen felt zoomed in.
With Source engine they changed it, so fov always maintains vertical value instead - if you switch to 16:9 from 4:3, you'll see more on the sides.
Since pros were to used to playing 1.6 at 4:3 stretched to 16:9, when they switched to CSGO they continued doing the same thing they did in 1.6.
All pro-wannabe kiddies decided to parrot them, since they were convinced it'll give them superpowers. When the actual answer was muscle memory build over the decades.
Interesting. I figured it had to have something to do with the pros being used to playing in 4:3 but had no clue why they would stretch it.
This makes the various reasons for doing this that I've read or heard from people who started in CSGO even more absurd than they already were.
People were asking for it for months to years even.
Don't try and ignore reality troony.
I did not ask for it.
well sucks to suck because valve is stuborn to the bone and will not give you csgo back
just wait like a year and everything will be ported over anyway
Nice goalpost moving trannoid.
good, no one should ask you about anything, your opinion is worthless anyway
Not my problem.
I did
they'll fix it just like they fixed csgo
>they'll fix it
it will take them years to get to the same state csgo was in
It's already better than CSGO by miles.
this.
i dropped csgo and cs in general because of how broken it was the first year
it's my biggest regret after not keeping my laptop mining bitcoin all my college campus life after i tried it out for an hour in 2009
People forgot how broken CSGO was at release. They just need to fix the sub-shit (tick) stuff and VAC
They need to bring content back.
No map specific factions.

Less maps than CSGO used to have before being shutdown, and that's despite the fact Valve constantly kept removing maps from GO.

kek steamcucks still can't realize valve is the most anti consumer company across the entire industry, it's sad.
The MOST anti consumer? Really? Even if you're being hyperbolic this is absolutely moronic.

Think harder it's not just csgo (although stealing a game people paid for is pretty damn pathetic).
>still no cl_righthand command
frick these Black folk
shup up 3rd world homosexual, nobody cares your pentium 3 cant run it, now you either upgrade and let it grow or you frick off, favela Black person monkey.
>mfw I still see morons with shit ass laptops playing in my games
Gayben giff Source 2, giff SDK, giiiiiifff
Every fricking day Steam has an update for this game, god damn.

what should i do when my premier match turns into an hvh? its happened 3 times now and i hate it. does regular comp have less cheaters?
Just make sure you're reporting players and don't be a moron to get your trust score up. I've got something like 150 games played and I've never come across anyone cheating.
>what should i do when my premier match turns into an hvh
help your team

No one gives a frick about Shartifact
Meanwhile, in reality, the player base has been asking for source two for the better part of 10 years now. I knew that was a shit idea.
People have literally been begging for YEARS moron-kun.
Nobody asked for GO either

why is it called CS 2 if CSGO got removed from steam? it s them saying " ye it s CSGO.. 2.0 "
Higher is better
I already like it way more than I liked CSGO.
I figure it's a cheeky reference to the fact that neither CSGO nor Source were called CS2 and a reference to the new engine.
I did. The only dissappointing thing here is the Source 2 engine.
imagine if valve shits out a new operation with the new knives but with only 2 maps (one is reuturning)
Take the R6Spill.
the daily ape out over cs2 is hilarious keep crying
CS players don't want a game, they want lootboxes.
im sorry you dont respect our hobby
It's pretty funny that all Valve had to do to get me more interested in playing the latest iteration of Counter-Strike was to not have lootboxes plastered all over the first screen I see upon booting up the game.
I did and I enjoy the game. The comp gays can go cry tears.
Blam blam blam blam get dinked get dinked get dinked
headshotz & peekers advantage & awpz is fricking boring
We were KINGS
>launches with no community servers
>3 game modes
>no new maps
Hey but at least you can poke holes in smoke clouds!
you community server groomers are a loud minority.
The Counter Strike fanbase prefers match making FACE IT! You are too scared to play ranked so you go hide and groom kids in your little servers
The game is just more fun when it doesn't feel like a job.
the CSGO fanbase are all pigs who love esport slop and think 5v5 is the best ever. So gay and dumb when you comp shitters were forced to squat in IRC chats for 5v5 crap
meds, moron
I would like to formally thank CSGO players for paying for this shiny new game that I get to enjoy. I can't believe you morons actually played this game in 4:3 stretched to 16:9 for years.
>4:3 stretched to 16:9
Do they really?
Yes. I couldn't believe it. They say it makes people easier to hit since they're "bigger." Google "stretched 4:3" and see what you find.
it's a crutch
i'll never understand jumping through hoops just to click heads
Seems like complete snake oil to me. I want to say I watched a YouTube video where some goober said that the models being wider results in lower latency from the screen to your eyeballs which uh, lol.

I asked for it. I tried playing solo CS GO before and it was shit. Now everyone wants to play and it's easy to fill a team, so it's really fun.
I have been asking for it and talking about it since August 2015
>still no non-vr singleplayer source 2 game that could act as a basis for a gmod successor
no, garry's shitbox roblox knock-off doesn't count
