They probably would if they owned the IP. Capcom made Power Stone, but they are making too much money with Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and to a slightly lesser extent DMC to care about Power Stone.

there were a lot of high quality underground releases and the worlds are detailed enough while maintaining the charming chunky graphics, it had the best shader pipeline giving it unique visials and that's the reason why games on it look better then on the PS2 (those which released on both)
