I just remember your big muscleman party member gets cursed early on and it reduces him to a useless wimp. I guess it gets cured later but I never got that far.
It uses a weird double health system that is just annoying and the mechanics of it has your characters not dead, but stunned most of the time. It's just annoying. Encounter rate is also so high that running away becomes an extremely viable tactic to the point i did the entire optional ice cave dungeon by just running from every battle till i found all the treasure chests.
I really like the way the game looks. It's one of the earliest JRPG's for PSX so it looks and feels very much like a Super Famicom game but the story is boring and the gameplay is very flawed unfortunately.
Super Mario Bros 3
better than mario world dick dock

Nah, not useless, he actually tore shit up when your party was low level, but only if the rng was in your favor and he landed a hit.
yeah, he gets cured later but he's still ass

There’s literally no topping that turd.
What's wrong with it?
Awful encounter rate with a bland story.

I enjoyed this game, it was fun and really challenging. Edward, Annie, Tont and Domino was my endgame team
This looks like a saturn game
Weird
Made by Sonic (aka Camelot, the Shining devs).
I was so pissed when this game ended on a cliffhanger. When Golden Sun did the same thing, I refused to play the second one.
I think every RPG Sonic/Camelot ever made is like that.
Same.
Frick Golden Sun.
Honestly pretty telling how it forgotten immediately after it got rereleased on Switch.
I liked this game. The side quest to get Lorelle was fun.
Warpath 97'
any number of Flash games that worked on a Win98 "platform".
I might as well have posted the whole series but most of it isn't retro
Beyond the Beyond 2: Further Beyond
Beyond the Beyond 3: None More Beyond
Beyond the Beyond 2: Even Further Beyond was a good expansion pack
>too stupid to solve point and click puzzles or think beyond first person? Have we got a game for you!

To be fair, the first couple hours were pretty decent in presentation. Everything after that shitty slider puzzle sucks though.
I do not believe in nepotism, all video games are equal
Shrek Fairy Tale Freakdown for the Gameboy Color is still one of the absolute worst games I've ever played
>kusoge
Using Beyond the Beyond as context, I have to assume this word is an extreme negative.

The obvious choice.
