It's not bad but it's definitely a step back from the games that came before it, mostly due tk budget reasons. The art is great, some of the music is great. and so are 2/3rds of the bosses but that's where the good aspects end.

It is specifically mentioned that all reflective surfaces have been scrapped off. They still refer to stuff that would be reflective or mentiond mirror in areas of the game, but these mirror have also been scrapped off.
At worst you can argue that there is some time between themr eaching the itnerior garden with water and looking at the reflection.
Or it must be great being rich to be able to afford both to compare.
I much prefer my 2DS over the rest as I can play in bed laying down and not have to worry about the top screen wobble with every slight movement
I can't. The library of 3DS was shit and the native emulation of GBA and DS games is a chore that takes WAY too long to get going, I'm talking about looking at a splash screen for 20 seconds before the game starts, then waiting 30 secodns for the homescreen to load after you quit the game.
Just not a very good console, way too many gimmick games that rely on all the useless crap.

The 3DS was largely an Etrian Odyssey device for me. I definitely got a lot out of SMTIV, ALBW, KIU, and MH4U but most of the time I spent on it was with Etrian Odyssey.
It's such a cool game, and it's a shame that I can only play it on me 3DS.
I don't care at all for stuff like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley, but Tomodachi Life really entertains me for some reason.
Maybe cause it's a bit like Tamagotchi.
I still fricking pray that Tomodachi Life gets a Switch remaster one day. Maybe if it proves to be far more of a success than it was on the 3DS, I'd love to see a far more fleshed-out sequel while still staying true to what made Tomodachi Life great.
