splinter cell double agent and hunt showdown. pvpve stealth game. so you've got a map with patrolling sentries and teams or solo splinter cells moving through map and accessing desks or computers gathering intel, and narrowing down the path to objectives. if splinter cell passes within view of other/another splinter cell, xp is lost, or something, necessitating stealth, but one team would have to tag the other somehow so the game knows they were seen. i suppose it could work. one team's objective is another's, so like a downed plane could need recovered by one team, lased for bombing by another. scores and xp based on not being seen and pinged by other teams/solo players or being detected/killed by ai.

Not many people want to play a collectathon where a pair of small, one horned goats investigate the local doomsday/sex cult to rescue their choco tomboy friend and her infinity nachos while being trapped in a dream. The inclusion of turn-based combat and vn elements into the early 3d-style platforming didn't work out but when the mc hallucinated seeing his tomboy friend in her underwear, thereby causing the school to flip into a mirror dimension allowing more puzzles to be solved, many players mention that as memorable
But it just didn't feel like the games they remember playing.
Could be a really enjoyable experience if it was a MMO set in the yugioh "monsterverse". Each expansion could be a new archetype's world/storyline. The idea is crazy enough it might just work. No strong idea how they would combine the gameplay though.

I would also like to make money a holdable and storable resource, like if you want to buy property or resources, you have to exchange chests of gold or maybe other goods and not just an infinite wallet or "credits" since its not a scifi game where you could do that.

The inclusion of turn-based combat and vn elements into the early 3d-style platforming didn't work out but when the mc hallucinated seeing his tomboy friend in her underwear, thereby causing the school to flip into a mirror dimension allowing more puzzles to be solved, many players mention that as memorable

Open World Crafting Driving Simulator R.E. spin-off entry. Even with functioning multiplayer so you can build convoys and supply lines etc.

You go around a grid seperated world of connected levels that represent japan together with Tochikiro gathering amrita stones and resources to build castles, set up trading posts, make money, build an empire and fight of Xokais and Samurais. Theres different clans you can trade with and wage war against in the name of Nobunaga (at some point). Instead of a ship it'll be horses and carriages that you can load with resources. I would also like to make money a holdable and storable resource, like if you want to buy property or resources, you have to exchange chests of gold or maybe other goods and not just an infinite wallet or "credits" since its not a scifi game where you could do that.
