He'd most likely just get brainwashed by either Radiant or Dire and pulled into the war. If the two can do that to Fundamentals, then Goku isn't going to be a challenge.
Most of the lesser heroes on either side die, but once he hits things on the level of Elder Titan or above, he's running into brings who can at least keep up. Any Fundamental mulches him instantly if he gets them to actually exert effort, as does Arc Warden.
