No, neither was generations really. 2nd attack was where the formula was perfect. But they kept returning to the classic bomberman style, which is the most boring and tired in existence at this point.
They put out the entire show on Blu-Ray around that time and it was released with it as an extra. Doesn't seem like too many were made as they now go up in the thousands.
>The force of bomb is never with bomb itself but within our heart!
The writer was really trying to make something sound meaningful while using bomb as a theme.

To be fair, Jetters basically tries to hammer it home that it's more the heart that matters than what the bombermen can do.

Still that's a sentence that you can tell the writer spent an entire night trying to get anything deep. It was a toss up between that line or the Heart of the Bombs but he was afraid yu-gi-oh would sue.
Also might as well get this out the way

At the end of a day, it's a kid's show based on a video game where you just blow shit up. Anything deeper you might try to spin out of it can come off as insincere, or trying to wax too poetically when you write such a quote in isolation onto a bluray box.

I know, it's just funny how forced a sentence it is. Really pulling a muscle with that one.

It's possible that it's also a bad case of engrish.
The GBA games were good. Densetsu no Bomberman is basically Bomberman Tournament 2 without the carabom battling, Game Collection is a solid collection of mini games, a pinball game, and the best battle mode of the Bomberman GBA games.Wasn’t into the GameCube game, especially with the shoddy localization.
Anime is great though, one of the few anime series I enjoy. Also one of the few video game based shows that I actually enjoy.
Might check out some of the GBA games then, never played them for whatever reason
Since Densetsu no Bomberman is in Japanese, you might need a guide to get through it. There’s a complete guide on GameFAQs which you will help you out, I’ve used it too. Navigating through Game Collection I think is easy enough without any Japanese knowledge.
I really like the game. I played it enough times that I can get through the first planet without the guide.

Didn't the show go on for a while? I'm surprised both games were shit
The show lasted for 52 episodes and it got an audio drama sequel in 2019.

drama sequel in 2019
that seems incredibly random

https://cytube.xyz/r/Netbros watching jetters here
The Blu-Ray had some cute artwork to go alongside it.
How many pieces of art did it come with?
I'm not sure, I'm going off of google since it appears some of the boxset's contents were posted on Archive.org.
I wish Grand Bomber could've met up with the what's-his-face bomber like in that pic. I'm sure they'd have become friends.
Cute art, but it looks a bit odd they don't have shadows
Grand Bomber was too based.
ENTER
you could be watching jetters RIGHT now
I think the episodes are still up on youtube, split in three parts each (remember those days?), if you're too lazy to download the show yourself.
Kek, the stream posted above is going through the episodes on youtube. Pretty comfy
Based.
i just started it the other day
surprisingly good
You better finish it.
I can't. Ganker got me hooked on watching another show from the last off topic thread I went to.
What show?

No. It was worse than Generations. Bomberman has been shit since Second Attack.
I am going to draw porn of Shout.

Did they ever make merchandise for this show? All of it's gotta be impossible to find now, but I do remember seeing a garage kit figure of Shout.
>garage kit figure of shout
i would buy this immediately but there's no way i'd be able to find it
making mediocre one yourself shouldnt be that hard
i'm moronic man that's asking for too much
