>We're working on pve so we can't keep doing frequent updates.

>We're working on pve so we can't keep doing frequent updates.
>We will release overwatch 2 with bare minimum of new content and it'll be heavily stripped down compared to OW1 but don't worry it's all for pve and it will be worth it.
>Sorry we are completely canceling pve even though it's almost ready (trust me bro) because it doesn't meet blizzard quality.
This is probably one of the biggest frick-ups and scams in the gaming industry ever.
The worst part is that original pretty decent overwatch is gone, all we have left is p2w unplayable pile of shit.

Is anyone surprised that Overwatch's legacy is nothing but frick ups?
The game was helmed by Jeff "I'll finish Titan" Kaplan.
And once he jumped ship, someone had to pick up the pieces of the mess he left behind.

If you still give money to modern Blizzard games then you are akin to a battered housewife.
And hot damn do you deserve another five across the eye.

You forgot that they are now releasing the PvE that is finished for 15 dollars. They even had some Youtuber shills to play it but even they said it was a "6 out of 10 experience" that has no replayability (the main point of the original PvE)

    >bare minimum content
It had as much content as the original OW1. My only annoyance is them cutting out all the revived ancient egyptian religion references because "muh muzzie goat fricker theocratic imperialists need to be respected :("

Less content than game would get if they kept working on OW1 instead of working on pve.

      Are you sure about that.
      Ow2 removed a game mode
      removed 6v6
      removed free character customisation
removed equal ground for every player by introducing paid heroes.
It seems to me that ow2 actually has less content.

6v6 enables harder meta stomps. Also, a good player can do less for the game with skill itself. OW1 was absolute dogshit shield stalemate fest for most of the time.

You mean they made it into dogshit shield shit wella fter the game came out, because they are blizzard, and they have not made a single good thing they did not immediately frick up in nearing some 20 years.

Ever play large scale TF2 servers? That shits fun. More players tends to be more fun. The fewer the players there are, the more tryhard eSports it becomes. I always had a feeling that 3v3 mode was a bad omen of things to come.

This was my line of thinking too, they should've gone to like 8v8 with a new class subset or some shit, would've been more exciting, fun and warranted the 2 more.
They tried too hard to appeal to tryhards who live for ranking up and winning rather than having fun

I can't speak for everyone since I don't watch people play it, but I've got friends who play OW and similar games only for ranked, and if they lose they are raging, flaming eachother and sounding depressed as frick, I don't get the mindset but I'm sure its a fairly common one
I try to get them into more casual fun games like tf2 or drg but they it seems they can't get into anything that doesn't involve sweating to rank up your MMR

valuing """balance""" over fun is the reason the game died, will die again, and will have its pitiful launch on steam

    >biggest frick-ups and scams in the gaming industry ever
The game is free, are you getting forced to buy skins? Turn off your monitor

    >original pretty decent overwatch is gone, all we have left is p2w unplayable
Getting rid of double shields and CC spam made it unplayable? The balance is better than it's ever been, which low skill hero were you playing that they nerfed?

Not defending blizzard at all btw, the decision to call this a sequel was clearly a calculated business move to distract from all the controversy they were going through at the time and the overwatch team wasn't given the resources to deliver on that. It just boggles my mind that people act like this game personally fricked their mom because they added a 2 to the name. Like how does that effect you at all? Do you miss spending money on gambling boxes that much?

Wasn't Demon Lord Reinhardt a workshop mode originally? What's stopping Blizzard from letting players make maps aside from their ego? 2CP and Push maps are dogshit, I'm sure there's one talented autistic out there who could whip up a map that plays better than those.

Don't forget the bastardized PvE they're selling won't have any of the scope or scale we were promised (like the skill trees and hero missions), instead they're fluffed up archives event missions being sold for 15$.
