Western arcades have always been shit. It's not a new phenomenon that's exclusive to barcades. People don't respect things that don't belong to them. They don't even respect things that do belong to them half the time.

All arcades are shit, even jap ones.
Only if you're a moron who doesn't know how to find the good ones and gets stuck with UFO catchers and fake horse gambling.
The only Japanese arcade I've been too reeked of cigarettes
Soul
As a smoker this seems based,it means i can go there play some games and dont have to go outside to smoke a cig.
That's Mikado, right?
All of the ones I went to only reeked of cigarettes when you're right by the smoke room.
Well you are just wrong and under-informed.
Why are western arcade operators so inept at putting the right controls into fighting game cabinets?
>When the joystick or one of the buttons is broken
American games were better in the 70s and early 80s. After that point, Japan stomped it.
Japan took over video games when Space Invaders released and has remained the king ever since.
Ok why don’t you move to Japan then
Oh yeah you’re a larping gay who thinks watching anime and playing final fantasy makes you a Japan vs America expert
>Ok why don’t you move to Japan then
I already did
>Final Fantasy
FF is for gays like you. I don't play that shit.
You're not a jap. You will never be a jap. Japs hate you, kokujin-kun.
Imagine seething so hard just because someone else gets to play in arcades that have working machines and don't have broken buttons covered in boogers and beer.
Nta, but I enjoy ff and arcade games, poser.
You will never be a Japanese woman
Japs don't value arcades either. They are into idle cellphone crap as the rest of the world.
>I already did
What job do you do?
I went to Tokyo recently and fell in love with it. I can't wait to go back. The arcades were amazing and there's so many within distance to walk/train.
Meanwhile the closest arcades to me are 2+ hour drives.
