Hello I am in the market for WRPG recs out of a passing interest. I mostly play JRPGs and don't tend to care about WRPGs aside from classic Fallout which I like the atmosphere of. With WRPGs though I mostly have only played Bethesda slop. I had a passing interest in Baldur's Gate when it was the hot topic but didn't play it, and Dark Souls seemed coolish (It's WRPG adjacent)
I am already aware of the proto RPGs like Wizardry or Ultima

The best WRPG that isn't Beth is in actuality still Ultima 6 or 7 for purists, Underworld, the Wizardries, VTMB and VTMR, KOTOR if not, and gold box Champions of Krynn for the classics as well as Ravenloft.
Baldur's Gate 3 is a good technological advancement for modern albeit it is too over the top and filled with Sven coomerism, but then again if you don't want to frick girls, you were never D&D in the first place, you were never metal, you were never swords and sorcery and should probably stick to your autogynephilia inducing weebshit where you can sublimate your sexual frustration into pretending you're androgynous or asexual or whatever other false above it all category you try to slot yourself into because you're a terrified aberrant weakling that can't approach the opposite sex.
Dark souls is an action game with rpg stats, not really an RPG since neither is Shadow of War. It's for people that have burned their brain out on weed and are no longer capable of builds, enjoying a story, and other higher order thinking and rely on muscle memory alone to jerk off and remember how to collect their government checks from the mailbox.
