The only way you can enjoy DMC1 is if you played it when it came out back when the tech may have been somewhat new and exciting, but it's so dated as to be almost unplayable by today's standards.
I played 5 first and I didn't think 1 was unplayable. You sound like a stupid homosexual trying too hard. You probably cancel games and boycott them if they are under 60fps like a true moron.

Every other entry has done good things for the action genre. 3 is still considered the best in terms of story and gameplay isn't 5 but it's still great and has some depth. Well this is one of the greatest in the genre easily. It deserves even more praise than it gets. If playing on PC you can even mod style switching during gameplay which pretty much makes DMC3 perfect at that point. One of the greatest game ever as well. Vergil is just about as fun to play with as Dante. Maybe even better depending on opinions.

Fixes every issue with the first 2 games. Amazing bosses, likeable characters, killer weapons, best devil trigger, although some pretty annoying regular enemies.
HD collection does not look as good as just emulating the original ps2 games.
I am still sitting on the fence about action game especially this one since I have it installed on my pc.
The only action game I tried were MGR and Bayonetta.
MGR combat was a mix-bag while Bayonetta was fun, but it got ruined by shitty mini-games in between.

Apart from some funny callbacks I now appreciate in other games and DARK SOUL WITH LIGHT, I didn't get enjoyment that matched the time I put into it. It's like a 6 for me. Perfectly playable and I appreciate it was great for its time but let's not tell people it'll be up there for the best games they'll play.
