FPBP. It's just... Ok. Sequel was slightly better IMHO, but it's still a pretty generic DnD campaign. Mask of the Betrayer is where it finally got good.
>Sequel was slightly better IMHO
Cant count how many times I dragged myself through Niewinter, while being unable to leave the starting area in NWN2 except once

Combats pretty fun so far tbh. Wish more games had it.
A 2-3/10 singleplayer, not even the most recommended modules are worthy.
Multiplayer wise is argualy even more of a waste of time as it's easier than ever to find people to play any edition of D&D with in any way, but I guess the MMO like experience of some of the servers may be good, I only checked a coupled but couldn't stand the utter garbage everything (gameplay, aesthetics, interface, music... just everything) of NWN so not even the best community could convince me to play that shit.
Just play Baldur's/ ToEE/ DAO/ Divinity/ Pillars/ Pathfinder/ Planescape/ Numerena instead
original campaign shit
shadows of undrentide REALLY shit
horde of the underdark was when it got good, but was also epic D&D where the gamesystem totally breaks down
The system is bad, but the gameplay itself is a bit jank. Act1 of the main quest is 30 hours of clicking on barrels for sling stones and autoattacking chests for 10 minutes hoping you get a crit
Original campaign is kind of trash
SoU is a top tier comfy DnD adventure
HotU is cool
Custom modules are fun
Also this
Graphics are terrible, but if you've got an imagination you can get immersed. Look at this guy,
You are in for Aribeth's heaving, conspicuously animated jiggling breasts
he is able to picture a pair of bouncing melons in his head when her actual breasts are like four triangles each
I didn't need imagination for Aribeth, her boobies were somehow fricking animated to jiggle when everything else is PS2 polygons
I swear
It(they) stuck out like sore thumb(s)
Just fricking don't on the main campaign. Not memeing or being a contrarian shitload, it's NOT fun. Massive slog with mediocre at best writing and entirely uninspired combat.
Just go straight to hordes of the underdark. Great game, great writing, passionately designed. It's kind of amazing the difference in quality between the main campaign and HotU.
An OK time. There are a few custom campaigns out there that are more worth playing then the main game.

It's good enough.
>EE
Trannies, trannies as far as the eye can see!
only play the vanilla campaign with friends
if you're solo, then play the two expansions in release order, they're good RPGs.
Lots of Bard dips followed by 10 levels of Dragon Disciple.

peak brainlet right here
NWN is a weird game that should be great but just isn't, despite how much I want to like it. 3.0 D&D was not good.
Pretty sure nwn 1 and 2 were 3.5 though?
2 might have been but I could have sworn nwn1 release was 3.0
NWN2 was, NWN was based on the original 3rd Edition. Hence why it was so goddamn jank.
Is it really jank though? Maybe it’s just me but this plays really good for something that came out 21 years ago.

>nwn is 21 years old
Yes
The years since your adolescence are now greater than your age when you were an adolescent
A rather Meh main story, Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark's campaigns are way better.
Fricking hell, already?
The moment to moment is smooth enough, but untangling the goddamn cesspit that is modifier splitting is 3rd Edition all the way.
Good enough, but nothing exceptional. Its a chill game to finish, first chapter is pretty boring but it gradually gets better.
Swordflight.

The camera controls in 2 are so bad I can't play it. I don't get how someone can frick that up but they managed.
Play A Dance With Rogues for some cringe coom kino.
Was that the mod that left dudes 'respecting women more now' or something like that
to play shadows of undrentide that is the superior xpack
a great time
