>but you need to be in the right mood for it. >what do you mean?
i mean, that if you have trouble sleeping, just play this game and i guarantee you will fall asleep.
its a walking and e-mail reading simulator on an empty space station.
i think it was the single most motherfricking boring FPS game i have ever played.
uninstalled it after 2 hours.
At least its no longer cool to pretend to be outraged that the name was stolen and we'll never get a sequel of a really good fps that everyone remembers and didnt forget about after 20 minutes of playing the demo called prey about native americans in space or some shit
it's great but you can kinda tell where content was cut and compromises had to be made for consoles/ AAA expectations
I feel like most people went in expecting bioshock in space and just run and gun so they missed out on so much of the game, it's almost like ruining the game for yourself
I couldn't get into it like everyone seemed to, despite liking those kind of games. I wasn't a fan of the ending either, it does work to a degree, I just didn't like it.
Good start to mid game. It's start to slog nearing the end. Also blowing the station up was a big dissapointment. Were expecting Alien: Nostromo vibe with big countdown and a big boom. Only got like a wimper firework
It's funny that in retrospect having played both, I always heard that Bioshock ripped the depth out of System Shock, and there are ways it did so, but in comparison to what came after like Infinite they feel so similar in almost every way that matters. At least Bioshock has exploration.
And now it's time to beat the mind game
And now it's time to beat themindgame
And now it'stime to beat the mind game
Andnow it's time to beat the mind game
It's a weird one for me. On one hand I can 100% say its a really good game and you can tell it has a lot of soul and the devs know what the frick they are doing. On the other hand I got bored like 70% of the way in and quit playing.
It's a once in a lifetime masterpiece. If you get the story, then it will make sense why Prey enjoyers talk so highly about this game. If you don't get the story you call it shit.
>lack of direction
The game constantly points you to shit you must do with an intended linear structure if you follow the main quest.
If you mean gameplay wise, if everything being viable (within reason) and mediocre means directionless than welcome to the genre you stupid bastard, it has been garbage since Deus Ex.
No. Thief has not and never will be part of it.
Absolute hidden kino, but you need to be in the right mood for it. Also character made of tissue paper initially.
>but you need to be in the right mood for it.

thank frick its for free on gamepass.
boredom
kino for high iqs only
>kino for high iqs only
^
cool concept and interesting mechanics
boring game
It's fun, but doesn't have much replay value. You will enjoy it, don't let Ganker shitters trick you.
Prop hunt, exploration, decent story, you can recycle anything.
Also people shit on this game like it's a national sport. It's cool to hate Prey 2016. Everyone hates Prey 2016.

A pretty alright game.
I give it a 7.5/10
There are better immersive sims but there are also a lot of worse ones too.
I couldn't get into it like everyone seemed to, despite liking those kind of games. I wasn't a fan of the ending either, it does work to a degree, I just didn't like it.
A quality time op

A shell of the original.
a game that could've been great if Arkane weren't petrified of making a game that could filter people through difficulty
another way to put it, it's a resource management game in a post-scarcity universe
It’s a fun game. Exploring and learning the stories of the crew, what happened.
Retro futuristic aesthetic.
Shit ending though.
System shock 2 for casuals
Yes.
old good
new gooder
I thought that was Bioshock.
It's funny that in retrospect having played both, I always heard that Bioshock ripped the depth out of System Shock, and there are ways it did so, but in comparison to what came after like Infinite they feel so similar in almost every way that matters. At least Bioshock has exploration.
Kino. Very cool anti-grav segments

cool intro
a couple cool mechanics and immershun-simm opportunities
bland characters, story, and setting
I got bored and dropped it; ymmv

a bad game
I already saw the endings, is the game still worth it?
Yes, seeing the endings doesn't detract from the final scene of the game at all.
I wish I had the mc's apartment. Very spacious. cool.
Goyslop for people who use "creativity" as an excuse for lack of direction.
