What am I in for?
I just want a good but simple gaming mouse like the old DeathAdder from back in the days...
No fat x100 macro buttons or other gimmicks...

Guys what’s the best gaming mouse to get these days under 100?
I got a G305 because I like simple, takes a AA, and it doesn't have all those meme crevices and holes that collect dust and hand grime.
>enjoy your double cli-
Works on my machine. Going on 2 years now perfect operation. I'll fix it if it comes up tho.
Lamzu Thorn
Rival 600. Often on sale for less than 40€
make sure you get the one with the switches that won't start double clicking on you
I bought a refurbished v2 from Amazon, so I guess this is why it double clicks.
> I bought a refurbished v2 from Amazon, so I guess this is why it double clicks.
That's not why. Razer mouse is basically the Apple of gaming mouse. Razer build quality is no better than cheap chink shit. That's why they ALL double click after some time. People just trust the brand name, not the actual build quality. morons never learn their lesson and will continue buying it forever just because it's the brand Razer.
I have two other V2's sitting in the drawer right now that don't double click.
What's a mouse brand with good build quality?
any Razer mouse is just overpriced chink shit.
I should get the V3.
is it possible yet to buy a wireless mouse that won't start double clicking?
I think the microswitches can be replaced easily...
I'll take that as "no"
If you wanted to ask a yes or no question, you should have said so bro
it was a fricking yes or no question can you not read you moron?
You asked if it was possible, not if your opinion was good.
everything will eventually double click after a period of time. It's normal wear and tear. Nothing lasts forever.
But you can get mouses that have switches that are very double click resistance. Get a Roccat Burst Pro, that can last you extrememly long before it starts double clicking.
I've owned mice since they had ball inside them and they never double clicked until these new wireless ones went on the market. A strange coincidence.
yeah there are a bunch of optical switch mice nowadays. pretty sure everyone is just waiting for the superlight to go optical and that will be the best mouse if logitech doesn’t frick it up
I got tired of the super light fps mouse meme. I got the G502 X for all the buttons. I don't even play serious FPS games any more and use my computer for shitposting and window management 90% of the time.
I have a V3 Pro, hate they changed the the usual Deathadder shape but man does it feel good
Good man.
I realized that razer is made for people that treat their PC like a video game console. Not for people that browse the internet or play games 16 hours a day with it. I'm a BenQ Zowie man myself.
I still use my Zowie AM or whatever the model is. Used them for years, my current zowie mouse has been going strong for 2 years and I only changed out the previous one because it got all gross from my disgusting gamer hand.
yeah I vote with this anon
>worst fricking scroll wheel on a mouse
Zowie mice feel like Amazon basic mice.
I loathe the smooth scrolling shit that seems to be the trend these days - or was the trend last time I was mouse shopping.
Counterpoint: Zowie still uses optical scroll wheels (who knows how long BenQ will allow that to continue though) so they aren't a guaranteed failure point like most mice.
it will break in a few months. i have a chinese mouse thats still alive after 7 years, and these razers clickers die within months.
Razer Mice strong like teflon.
just get a logitech g pro
razer quality is fricking horrendous
if not the logitech then any of the other major brands that make gaming mice stuff

I wish people would just copy the deathadder shape, all these fricking mice are too small for me because use 3 fingers on top and my hands are big
>Wired
I hate wireless. Batteries are a huge inconvenience. I have to plug in my shit once and then forget about it until it breaks. I mean I guess if you have two or three different computers you want to use the same mouse and keyboard with, wireless makes sense. Otherwise, it's just a straight downgrade.
I olug my mouse in overnight once a month. Realistically it takes less time than that. I dont know where you get your info from.
But that's exactly what I'm saying. You have to plug in your mouse once a month for... Why? What benefit does wireless bring if you're not often bringing your mouse somewhere else? This isn't like a controller where you're leaning back or moving it around so much. The mouse is in the same spot every day. Nothing can magically appear to tangle the wire, and cable drag is only an issue if you're a grandma using your mouse at 200 dpi instead of 2000 or something.
Like it's not a huge inconvenience, I know, but it is an inconvenience. Why introduce that for no reason?
I have a g305 and I replace my batteries about 3-4 times a year, it takes a minute to swap it. The mouse takes less than 5 minutes of maintenance per year, "huge" inconvenience indeed.
You people are moronic. Wireless mice have been objectively better for a decade at this point.
The wireless latency is on par if not better than wired and they use so little power that you very rarely need to charge them. I have a Superlight X and I seriously charge it less than once a month when I go to take a shit and I'm a sweaty gamer nerd that uses his PC for 16 hours a day.
Cable drag is a thing, and it sucks. If you're a poorgay that can only afford a £5 TECKNET mouse then sux2b u but stop pretending that you're making an educated purchasing decision when you chose to buy an objectively inferior product
Also and DPI over 1600 is moronic and if you seriously play with a sens that high then it's clear you're a shitter that has no idea what he's talking about.
>I'm too fat to deal with cords the post
>wabtubh wiewirel els latencties cufkcing you in oneoluien game
>wanting wireless latencies fricking you in online games
lol
its so minor that it really doesnt mean anything, all the "esport" pros on cs use wireless my man and I doubt anyone here is better than them
wireless is simply better nowdays
>wireless is simply better nowdays
I can understand 'not worse,' but in what way would they be better?
the feel since you're not tethered
Because wires are shit.
Wires frick with how your hand moves because they provide physical blocking as a material that will yank.
But in reality you probably are relaxing your hand and dragging that side of your palm on the desk lololol and youre worried about wires
Nice shape, no glowing shit, good switches
Can't complain
This is a perfect thread for me because I need to maybe replace my G9x. Is there literally anything that feels remotely similar in this day of our Lord 2023?
can someone reccomend a good mouse+keyboard combo to play in xbox?
moronic nig
No
>been using the same wired logitech mouse with two side buttons on it for over 10 years
>its so old all the spots where my fingers rest have worn in spots
>it still works flawlessly
I am still not paying $50 more for a mouse with more failure points for a 1% hypothetical performance advantage if you play a certain way because I am not playing for money, getting free shit, or delusional. It's great if your wireless mouse works for you bust I just don't need or want it. The mice that use a removable AAA are less bullshit on the surface but they weigh so much more they're just pointless outside of a non-gaymen couch setup sort of thing.
Enjoy paying 49.99 for mouses that will keep double clicking after a few months.
The world would be a better place if you would just hurry up and starve to death instead of trying to pay for food with incompetent unintelligible ESL marketing posts.
Great mouse. Needs spyware to turn troony lights off.
Logitech G502. The best mouse.
