I don't think anyone has an issue with Garland winning, but it was extremely obviously after Round 4 he was winning which is what annoyed people as there was no one else with any energy.
That day, King of Ganker round 3 was coming to a close. Battler from my favorite series, The Final Rumble, finally made it past round 2. Nothing could stop him now. The Battler vs 47 match we have all been waiting for would finally come. Everything else that has happened in these tournaments up to this point have just been filler. As I was eagerly awaiting the results, I watched as people fruitlessly memed Christopher Robin as a dark lord. As if a stupid meme could stop wrestling kino. Suddenly, the power went out and everything was dark. I could vaguely hear the sounds of what could only be described as baseball swings. I went outside and no one was there, but the sounds could still be heard. I thought to myself "What Would Battler Do?" and shouted into the air "Please introduce yourself! If you are a fellow anon, please gimme your main! If you are a femanon, breasts or GTFO!" There was no response. I thought of what else my hero would do. I had no cousins to grope and there are no women in my life who could bully me. I had to use Battler's trump card. I keeled over and started crying. Just then, I could see the lights in my house turn back on. The power was back. When I went back to my computer, my roommate came into my room asking if I wanted to play TF2 since my crying woke him up. I told him to let me finish reading this thread. It was time for the round 3 results. The OP was Milhouse making out with Battler of all things. As I tried scrolling down the thread, Milhouse's eyes became hyper realistic and started bleeding. In my ear, I could hear a faint whisper "What's the matter? Scared you might like it?" I turned around assuming my roommate said it and as I did, a big tittied ghost grabbed him and dragged him into the darkness as he started screaming. I turned back to my screen only to see the true horror. Battler lost. My roommate's last words were "Did Scout win?" I wish I could say he did to let my roommate rest in peace as I never saw him again after that day.
