There are tons, but you probably want to say what you enjoyed about it, the job system, the combat systems, the rpg elements?

I just really liked the feel of it, this is my first game of this style that I've played. I didn't realize I would enjoy keeping individual units alive, or how positioning mattered when using certain skills. It was a surprise that I enjoyed it so much so I just wanted to ask about other good ones in this style. I could google it but I really hate relying on top 10 lists rather than people who actually play the genre.

The obvious answer is Tactics Ogre. You might also like Advance Wars and Fire Emblem.

Tactics Ogre has already been mentioned, it's the game FFT was based on (Square literally hired the devs of TO to make FFT for them), plus there are the Final Fantasy Tactics Advance games which have kinda shit stories but the gameplay is great if you enjoyed FFT.

Aside from those classics, there are tons of games that take direct or indirect inspiration from TO/FFT, like Front Mission, Mercenaries Saga, Fell Seal, Disgaea, and many many more.

Is Disgaea good? I was looking at some gameplay and it just seems like a Skinner-box gridfest made to be exploited.

Here's the thing about all those Nippon Ichi SRPGs.
Each one of them is two games in one. The first game is basically Final Fantasy Tactics, only with a less-than-serious plot. The second game is about grinding until your balls fall off.
I'm not sure I'd suggest playing those games if you only want the first game and are not interested at all in the second game, but some people play those games yet never touch the postgame.

They're good games if you can stand the very tongue in cheek storylines and characters. It's true that they're famous for the ungodly grind and that's the even the main attraction for some people, but that's only for postgame meme stuff. Playing through the games normally you'll have to experience little to no grind.

yes but the grind is fun for a while
I'm not a completionist, so for me Disgaea is one of those games I pick up for 30 hours every few months and then drop again when I get bored

Not really if youre a strategy fan. The tactics part is a distant second to the JAPANESE part of the game.

      Yeah but I like that.

There's Final Fantasy V which is the game of the series focusing the most on job system aside with FFT

Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga

Only difference is that it uses a squad system instead of individual units. It adds another layer of strategy.
