WoW already wins the race on locations and world feel, the only games that come anywhere close are GW2 and honestly nobody has even come close to WoW's method of map transition with no loading screens, which goes a LONG way towards game feel.
But the game itself feels so hollow. The locations can only hold my sense of wonder for so long before I see through the sinister construction of the skinner box.

Formerly it would have been the homeworld of the titans, but they have already trashed the potential there by introducing the gay ass "First Ones" bullshit. mmorpgs are time sinks and nothing more. anything that works around the time sink is counter intuitive to the genre and kills the world. i really loved seeing 90% of players hiding in main cities 2 months into classic because all they had left was raids.
