Banjo 1 is the best one not only because of the unique charm and nice controls but how progression works, you don't want to do the whole level from scratch so you're a lot more focused than in other collectathons, try not to miss anything and certainly not to die
I really enjoy collecting pokemon. Shiny pokemon are like nostalgia Viagra, currently working on a gen3 living shiny dex. Some other collecting games I enjoy is ffviii triple triad cards, getting those A-9s are fun, good mini game. I like collecting different color and rank chocobo in ffviii. Collecting flickies in 3d blast and the chao garden in SA is fun. The next thing I want to do is collect all the different deadric artifacts in daggerfall. Iirc you can't have more than one at a time, but I'm not concerned with that as much as it's such a tricky process. Each deadric artifacts can only be obtained by summoning the proper deadrea on the corresponding day, at the right place, etc... so this means, in order for me to cycle through all the deadric artifacts, I will have to play through a whole year of daggerfall. I think I'll do a slow burn on that, take my time. I suppose getting the deadric artifacts in Morrowind is on my list too, but that seems quite a bit easier.
I was also thinking of getting all the items and furniture on pokemon R/S/E. It seems to be an extremely tedious task and honestly, I'm not sure I really want to go through with all it takes, but I'd love to have a saved game with all that stuff.
Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 1 & 2 have always been fantastic games that aren’t really talked about, it’s a genuinely fun series with great gameplay, beautiful environments, and very memorable/catchy music.
I remember the mechanical boss shark in the first game freaking me out. Wasn't there a kangaroo named Sheila or am I confusing that with a different game?
Rayman 2: The Great Escape
Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc
Kao the Kangaroo: Round 2
