For a little while, I was into the idea of building a massive collection of low poly game models and just exporting them into blender for my own personal amusement. But the problem is trying to find them ripped. I have no idea how to rip any from the console games.

There's this janky ass tool called Ninja Ripper and apparently you can rip 3D assets in real time as they're loaded within whatever game you're playing, works with emulated games too. No idea how any of that works but apparently it rips models, textures, everything. From what I understand a lot of models you're seeing were ripped with it
I've been toying with an idea of putting levels from a bunch of different games together in an UE project and exploring them in VR. That would be nice, but I haven't even tried this tool so far

That actually sounds really neat. I'll take a look at it when I can. This is not really a big project or anything. But something I started doing last year, to help me understand how to model in 3D. But I want to build a massive collection of 3D models for my own personal use.

Not strictly as a crossover, but i wish the last NES release in the states was a StarTropics 3 with the energy of the Captain N watching, Nintendo Power reading, OG tendie hype fandom of the era. Since 2 was time era focused, make 3 space as you travel to different dimensions: Mushroom Kingdom, Hyrule, Zebes and Angel Land, before a final fight on Zoda's homeworld. Just one big farewell self indulgent wank to the legacy of the NES on its way out since the previous games already had little nods to stuff like Tetris and R.O.B. and Mike is basically just Nester anyway.

You guys might like Tomb Raider: Biohazard. It's a crossover of Tomb Raider classic Lara Croft and Resident Evil. Takes place in the Irish Countryside in 1993, and involves supernatural elements as well as Umbrella, its pretty dope.
