Not RPGs. Perish in hellfire, munchkin homosexual.

I'll bite. what are those types of games called then?

That's not what a munchkin is.

"Munchkin" is literally defined by build autism. The term originally comes from using the optional character flaws rules in D&D, where you pick up a flaw in exchange for a bonus feat. The characters created through such a process end up being feeble and frail deformed "munchkins" built to have absurdly high bonuses on their chosen skills and feats.

Everything you just said is objectively incorrect.

          >"Munchkin" is literally defined by build autism.
That's my favorite kind of autism.
There's two types of people who play RPGs, failed normalgays and buildhomosexuals.
I despise the failed normalgay in all his forms.

This, Grimoire gets an honorable mention too for being a pretty good successor to wiz7 as far as build minmaxery goes. You can multiclass a single character through 15 roles to get an unstoppable, unkillable meat grinder that can wipe an entire encounter with melee attacks alone.

is there a thread for this game anywhere? I've always been curious since it looks like an interesting auto play game to leave on in the background.

No, there's no thread for it. It's an undocumented RPG. It's not an auto-play game. It's an online multiplayer real-time dungeon crawler.

You guys have a deformed and narrow vision
M&M 345 have no real builds and a throwaway story but are fun to play because your knowledge of the game world and game systems translate into power and freedom to act. In the endgame you are like 10 seconds away from any other tile in the world at any given time, you know where places that make you a hundred levels more powerful are, and you've consumed 50 gallons of hidden stat up fluid
D&D 3ed becoming the only lens for spergs to understand RPGs was a tragedy
