Syrian Warfare is pretty fun. Just be aware that it's propaganda. World in Conflict is pretty fun. Just be aware that it's propaganda. Warno is pretty fun. Just be aware that the community all consumes propaganda.
i like the starship troopers RTS that came out pretty recently. it's purely a campaign mode with no multiplayer so i feel like it was kind of made for the people who complain about asiaticclick
Fricking hell, I love Primitive wars so much but I cant fricking run in on Win10 due to compatibility issues with the mouse or something. Can anyone help me run it?
it's about the US and Soviets sending soldiers back in time in order to secure an important ressource in the future, but during the campaign you land in an era where there are actually soviet soldiers and bases (when there should only be pristine land and dinosaurs)
as a kid I was fascinated by the story but was too bad at the game itself to play more than the first two missions. I should give it a go nowadays or play with trainers or something to experience the whole story
Age of Mythology
Empires: Dawn of the Modern World

the only thing factorio doesn't have is controlling multiple units which is a minor part of the rts genre
can you actually make a compelling argument why it isn't rts?
>the only thing factorio doesn't have is controlling multiple units which is a minor part of the rts genre >a minor part of the rts genre
is this a joke?

No moron, it is a counter to your argument that factory requires "strategizing in real time" there for it is an RTS game, just how it is absurd to claim Factorio is an RPG because you play a role within the game.
RTS is a genre with well established expectations and controlling several units is one of these core requirements.
You deserve no more (You)s for your absolutely insane proposition.
>controlling units is a minor part of the rts genre
this better be a shitpost to bait responses to keep the thread alive

All the dune games are mediocre compared to the C&C ones tbh.

Excellent games but hardly anything in common with RTS
Modded Factorio gets close, but yeah, it's a stretch.
dsp is obviously not but factorio is 100% rts
It absolutely is not what the frick are you talking about
the only thing factorio doesn't have is controlling multiple units which is a minor part of the rts genre

>Halo Wars not mentioned
This place isn't as terrible as anons claim it to be
does Ganker just have really good taste in RTS or is the genre so dead that all the obvious and hidden gems have been picked out and displayed?
