Jak collection runs fine when you hack the vita and overclock it. Borderlands 2 can't be redeemed though.
No, you will never get above 20 fps in haven city even overclocked, on the other hand BL2 hovers around 24 fps and the only irredimable part are nonstop fricking crashes.

The tag force games are all good, special is the most recent one (10 years old) and has stuff from the first 10 series, ending on pendulums >Pop revelations
The warrior within port? Don't give op bad answers, i had that shit on psp and it sucked
Becuse fantranslation was made by oldgay Ganker poster, it localized the jokes and some of them are genuinely funny. Unlike the official translation, which is fricking awful along with the dub.
They don't make em like this anymore, I think it was also made by the same person who translated tag force special.

So it was made by a moron? Tag Force Special is infamous for having a garbage translation that replaces actual dialogue with ygotas jokes.
Freedom Wars - but it's brutally difficult to solo at the last stretch.
Soul Sacrifice Delta - best vita game IMO and the reason I bought it.
Muramasa Rebirth - the DLC characters are all completely different games
I also recommend the Quake 1 homebrew port as it's amazing.
Soul sacrifice is badass. It got me through a 9 month deployment since both my buddy and I bought it in Dubai and could play multiplayer battling bosses. The talking book is also highly comical.
These are good, especially Muramasa and anything Vanillaware, which plays amazingly well with the Vita’s d-pad. That said, SSD and Freedom Wars are monhun clones, which means that you’ll be missing on the multiplayer component, not a deal breaker but you’ll be missing out a bit.

Definitely not, the input lag is ridiculous on the Vita, which is a problem with the PSP stuff that never got sold online. It has a remaster, why not play that?
Nothing will ever beat Monster Hunter, but god fricking damn did Soul Sacrifice Delta get close. I still remember staying up late on Vitagen waiting for the game to unlock on PSN. I have no idea why it hasn't been ported to modern systems, but I also kind of enjoy the tiny community of people who love it
I played Golden Abyss last week and it was great, better than Naught Dog Uncharted games, it was made by Syphon Filter devs or if you are a zoomer, Days Gone devs.
Uncharted on the Vita was fun but it suffered hard from a moronicly inconsistent difficulty level and the "We have to use ALL of the Vita's capabilities" shit, so you get a lot of dumb portions like 'scrubbing' the screen to remove dirt from tablets or using the gyro sensors to tilt your console to stay balanced on walkways.
Its a gorgeous game though.
I keep hearing constant problems about the original Ps Vita. How much of a disaster was it, that it just keeps coming up with issues? Geez, was sony THAT lazy?

I don't think there's really anything that's a must play on the Vita because practically all its noteworthy games are available on stronger consoles/the PC. There is Gundam SEED Battle Destiny but it's pretty... Whatever really.
Megaman powered up. The fact Capcom never re-released in any format is pretty surprising. I remember the rumors of it coming to the 3ds but that never happened.
I hope your vita is hacked op, there's so many homebrew ports of stuff
If you're just looking for exclusives, there aren't many anymore that haven't been ported to ps4 or something, but as someone without a hacked switch/deck i think the vita is great for playing stuff portably
You got: >GTA 3 and VC >GTA san andreas (port of android version, modded to be less shit and closer to the original) >Fallout 1 and 2 >Sonic mania, 1/2/CD (android enhanced versions), not sure if 3 has a port yet >Max payne (also android port I think, there's tons of ports of android games because a guy figured out they're really easy to do) >any gamemaker game through yoyoloader vita >crazy taxi >Windows XP space cadet pinball and other meme ports
If you want actual vita/psp games, there's tons too besides the recommendations in this thread, i love disgaea 1-4 (3's best version is currently stuck on vita in fact), cladun x2/3, castlevania dxc, mega man maverick hunter x, me and my katamari (the vita one isn't that great imo), gravity rush, the wipeout games, etc
It's ridiculous the amount of love it still gets from fan ports and other stuff, vita really does mean life
And if yours is hacked, you can just use pkgj to download almost any vita/psp game/dlc that's on psn directly from snoy's servers
Have an nvidia gpu on your desktop? You can stream to vita using moonlight (apparently, i have amd so I dunno)
And of course, emulates everything up until gen 5 with native ps1 emulation to boot, some guy is trying to make a Dreamcast emulator too
Crazy to think it had a whole mega man maker and the servers for it only shut down ~a year ago. You can still get custom levels as saves though
I recommend not overclocking your PS Vita 1000 and PS Vita TV while playing. These 2 models has critical flaw in their SOC and Sony has used 4 thermal pads and use the backplate of the OLED screen to dissipate heat while the TV has a very thick thermal pad and utilize the metal frame as some sort of heats reader. Anyway, the constant expansion of solder in the SOC can lead it to eventually forming cracks and you will one day notice random artifacting in the lock screen, live-area and in-game. These artifacts can look like tiny dots forming some patterns or random triangular shapes. Restarting the device can temporarily fix the issue but it's a done permanent damage.
The PS Vita slim doesn't suffer from this issue.
Most people don't use their Vita or just use it sporadically hence why the issue is not yet spreading. Also the use of overclocking can be factored in as well as not many like using it.
I keep hearing constant problems about the original Ps Vita. How much of a disaster was it, that it just keeps coming up with issues? Geez, was sony THAT lazy?
The problem was that the Vita wasn't really that popular most people use the fat or 1000 or tv but not a lot of them play the unit itself since you can play most games on PC or PS4/Xbox anyway. And then only the minority actually uses overclocking to push the performance.
I think this issue will be forever buried but it does exist. It just required constant playing + overclock. Heck even if you don't use overclocking plugin, just playing demanding games like Resident Evil Revelations or Borderlands can cause damage to your vita.
Yeah Sony actually fixed the issue when they released the Slim version.

There are tons of amazing psp games, mh, metal gear, gta, etc
Vita was incredibly disappointing, especially compared to the 3ds, psp, and ds catalogs which were all amazing. Most of the good games it had got ported to better systems so it's pretty useless at this point
I was actually looking to sell my oled vita but it doesn't look like there's much demand, going rate is still about 80 bucks
Do you think it will ever rise or should I just still it before the battery inevitably expands?
Honestly I do believe that eventually the prices will start rising for them. Especially with vita being the ultimate handheld in my opinion.
Id say keep it especially if you are the kind to occasionally travel. I unironically bought my vita due to a bad roadtrip.
Mod the damn thing.
Its an emulation powerhouse.
And if you want to sell it modded one is going to fetch more money
I finished Fate Extra CCC and while I enjoyed it, I don't think it was as good as Extra itself. It felt rather like filler, but I did enjoy getting to hang out with Best Girl Nero again.
I think I might try Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinite that was translated a bit ago next. I hear it's even good solo and I could use some nostalgia. I played the OG RPGs back in the day, and I enjoyed both PSO1 and PSU.

>they were to lazy to do unique dialogue for both the male and female MCs so they just had everyone refer to the female MC as male as well?
Yeah. I'd play it on PC since there are mods that fix the dialogue, including the broken text lines for digiline answers.
Isn't that the game where they were to lazy to do unique dialogue for both the male and female MCs so they just had everyone refer to the female MC as male as well?
For those who got Dungeon Travelers 2, theres already an english PC port of both 2 and 2-2 on PC.
I heard someone tried to backport the script of 2-2 to Vita but it seems its more work is needed than just simply backporting it.
Yep. Heard they're putting it on other store fronts but theres no news on that. I'm surprised TH2DT will be released next month though. Thats why you get the cracked version.

You're the one trying to prop a dead, abandoned handheld with subpar ports and poorly localized jrpg slop.
If the psvita is good, what are 5 exclusive, must plays? Metacritic doesn't have one over an 80 that isn't a port or an anime game

The going rate is about $100 my dude, there's more demand now then there ever was
Honestly I do believe that eventually the prices will start rising for them. Especially with vita being the ultimate handheld in my opinion.
Id say keep it especially if you are the kind to occasionally travel. I unironically bought my vita due to a bad roadtrip.
Mod the damn thing.
Its an emulation powerhouse.
And if you want to sell it modded one is going to fetch more money
dungeon travelers 2
Golden Abyss is one of the worst games I have ever played
You haven't played that many then.
where are the SteamDeck homosexuals in threads like this? they only harass nintendo threads because they are insecure thats why
people are just posting game suggestions. go back to your containment thread tendie.
no one has shitted up the thread(yet)
trust me I know
>Steam Deck out of nowhere
Tendies are obsessed.
You can play as a female in Akiba?
ng+. You can choose from any npc model you want, and change idle/running animations too.
kino
wish the cute maid girl was datable in the vita version
>kino
i concur
>psp
Everything from imageepoch that was translated
>Vita
Metal max xeno(i know it's worse than ds games but it's WAY better than reborn) you need translation patch and overclocking
Muramasa is pretty much the only thing it has left
and SOVL sacrifice
>Daxter
>Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters
>Dissidia Final Fantasy 012
>Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix
>those two God of War games
Vita
>uhhhhhhh
>Muramasa Rebirth
>Dragon's Crown
>Soul Sacrifice
>uhhhh the Naughty Dog PS2 collections?
You really think that size matters is better then up your arsenal?
ok
>was going to post but nearly everyone in the thread already posted what's good
You homies are alright sometimes
Ganker has fallen
risen, frick
I’d say digimon cybersleuth, but the newer HD ports have more digimon, plus you can get it for any console or PC
the compete edition is on vita btw
Really? That’s cool I didn’t know that
>the compete edition is on vita
Only if you get HM in moon.
Bamco fricked over the west and made both CS and HM separate.
>they were to lazy to do unique dialogue for both the male and female MCs so they just had everyone refer to the female MC as male as well?
Yeah. I'd play it on PC since there are mods that fix the dialogue, including the broken text lines for digiline answers.
>only if you get hm in moon
that version has English patch
Isn't that the game where they were to lazy to do unique dialogue for both the male and female MCs so they just had everyone refer to the female MC as male as well?
The English translation is hilariously bad at some points but it’s a fun game nonetheless
Persona 4 Golden was the last game worth playing and now it's on every console
For those who got Dungeon Travelers 2, theres already an english PC port of both 2 and 2-2 on PC.
I heard someone tried to backport the script of 2-2 to Vita but it seems its more work is needed than just simply backporting it.
The only problem with it is that it has always online DRM.
the problem is that you're moronic
imagine not knowing how to pirate
Yep. Heard they're putting it on other store fronts but theres no news on that. I'm surprised TH2DT will be released next month though.
Thats why you get the cracked version.
there's no must play games on it. They all suck. If it didn't suck, it would have succeeded.
No exclusives at least. It makes a good emulation machine.
>if it had microsd support
fixed
locoroco 1-2-midnight carnival
patapon 1-2-3
Soul Sacrifice
Muramasa Rebirth
IA/VT Colorful
The iDOLM@STER Must Songs red & blue
