The ones that are atrocious are all the mega mans, they have fricked up controls when you press the dpad to run, mega man takes a step and hesitates for a few frames first, then he begins to run. They didn't fix it until Mega Man X, originall it was so you could tap the dpad repeatedly and edge yourself right up to the ledges of tricky jumps. But in practice it's just fricking awkward.
