Is it dumped online? Then it isn't rare because there's infinite copies available.
AFAIK it has not been dumped. It's a rare early version containing the first two routes IIRC, much like the Remake did. It's also less polished than the final release, with several typos. It would be great for something like TCRF.

Never been dumped my ass.
Huh? It was dumped right when it came out. I got my copy on Perfect Dark back in the 00s.
Holy moron, batman.
I've got a thousand pristine copies of whatever dogshit you think is rare.
Cool, you should sell them on ebay.
People do sell ROMs on Ebay.
Imagine if the Beatles used to be some random D-list band that opened in small clubs and sold a single of their first song at a few of them. That's basically what this is. It's basically a long demo for Tsukihime before Type-Moon became one of the biggest names in anime that was only sold at a few doujin events. It's a huge collector's item due to the history of it, but there's nothing on it that isn't in the full game.
Anon, your hypothetical is nearly reality.
You could have just said "Imagine if someone was selling one of the Beatles' original Decca audition tapes."
The Beatles were never good.
homosexual lol
Yes you are a homosexual for being a Beatles fan.
Splatterhouse
Physical copies make it rare. Digital piracy is an illegitmate copy.
>noooooooooo, my hentai is super expensive
Hentai? Stay off pornhub.
It is hentai, doe.
Splatterhouse isn't hentai.
Tsukihime is, thoughever.

The only official translation of the first Sakura Wars game
This was only in Russian, right?
Check this out: https://youtu.be/Xvm7k4Jx_cc?feature=shared

this reminds me of finding the Russian dub of TTGL and the site that sold the DVDs, ofc me being a broke high school student in the 2010's couldn't afford to nor figure out how to buy shit from Russia, and now I can't find shit on it. Makes me wonder how many obscure Russian translations exist that don't exist as English translation.
I wish ZUN would compile the pre Windows Touhou games into a neat little collection, but sounds like he is embarrassed by them. Relating to the topic, i guess there was such a cd collection once, but its about just as stupid rare as the original, individual releases.
>sounds like he is embarrassed by them
He should be. Their contemporaries include some of the best Cotton games. When they came out no one wanted to play them, and for a good reason.
>sounds like he is embarrassed by them
I don't think he knows shame or embarrassment, just look at the turds he keeps making to this day
There's a sequel to Cosmology of Kyoto sitting out there somewhere, with the only known copy sitting in some Jap collector's collection. Even Cosmology of Kyoto is pretty up there as one of the rarest games.
Wait really? I can’t find anything online about this.
Not a lot of databases have it, it's called Tripitaka, and there should be something about the whole thing out there somewhere. Apparently it was only sold in a museum.
I feel kinda bad. One time i was in a goodwill and found in a printed cardboard sleeve some game released/given away by an ATV dealership with some cartoon tiger character. I probably would have gotten it, but that day i just didn't feel like paying the price marked on it for something that was likely a little flash game. Later in hindsight i felt bad because it probably wasn't dumped online.
Ever17 seems to go for a decent chunk of change. I happen to own an unopened copy.
The combined CD for Touhou 1 ~ 5.

This b***h is out of her fricking mind.
>Highly Responsive to Prayers
Yes? That's the subtitle of Touhou 1.

>Released at Comic Treasure 13. Only 7 copies were made.
ATARI DUMBLEDORE FROM PORKSLOPE TURKEYHANDLE I'D HIT IT
malaysian version of resident evil and dino crisis. it is not dumped online
Korea has native Metal Slug 4 and 5 Windows ports.
Are they native? There are a bunch of official arcade releases for pc that Korea got, including NeoGeo stuff, that was literally just mame on a disc.
I think they are, considering they came out just a year after the arcade.

The OP copypasta at
.
Twisted Metal 1 had a PC port which only had a very limited release in Japan
Imagine having this on PC in the west and getting netplay with it on something like Heat or Mplayer.
If only.
Can now be had as abandonware: https://www.myabandonware.com/game/twisted-metal-bf2
There was a full english release of TM2 on PC in the west too.
Why? Japan doesn't really game on PC.
The Argentine release of Industry Giant had the cute detail of replacing the foreign currency for local currency. Localised cover art was not really a thing here.
