What are some popular games/franchises that you've never played and just aren't really interested in ever trying? Not stuff that you hate but just stuff that makes you feel nothing when you look at it, even if it's in a genre you normally play

I don't know what it is about Sonic but he never once "clicked" with me as a kid or even when trying as hard as possible to tap into primitive nostalgic feelings. Nothing about him, his characters, his setting, his stories/lore, or his base gameplay make me feel like I missed out on something. The only warm and fuzzy nostalgia factor that I feel for the series is the being mystified by the tails doll, thinking Espeo was cool, and enjoying that obscure 90s anime movie. I'll take Mario, Kirby, Crash, Spyro, and Rayman any day. Also the only games I've played of Sonic's were on the Mega Collection for the GameCube.

Most indie games that either consider themselves "Metroidvanias" or "souls-likes" or are generally considered one of those by everyone who likes them. I have nothing against indie games, I've played and liked quite a few, and I even like all the games that inspired those "genres", but I just have no interest in playing any of them, not even the ones that are generally considered to be great games.
