What are some singleplayer games with shooting mechanics similar to Counter-Strike?
I love the shooting in that game, but I hate multiplayer. Obviously I know Half-Life, Black Mesa, CS: Condition Zero, Left 4 Dead

CS headshots are really satisfying. I don't think there's any other game that can replicate that feeling.

Is the matchmaking fricked for this? I'm playing a new account, haven't played a CS game since old source. I'm being consistently paired with twitchy pros headshotting in nanoseconds.
why would anyone but twitchy pro wannabes play CS?
That's how CS is now. I started CS;GO a while ago after not having played since Source. The days of fricking around meme maps or playing cs_office 24/7 on Source and just having fun are over.

Ranks were completely reset, everyone starts at the bottom, pros and shitters alike. Give it a few weeks for the better players to rank up then you can play with your fellow shitters.
I've only been playing casual matchmaking and its been all shitters for the most part.
for me, it's the 1.6 ak. loved getting headshots with it even if i sucked
what are some good games on PC that reward accuracy and reflexes, as well as general skill level
like stalker (modded) being able to headshot people dead
games that generally don't feel heavy or clunky, responsive with sensitivity and where headshots kill instead of just do bonus damage
are we talkin just fps??? or any game that rewards precise control
killing floor 2 has really satisfying headshots. generally the game is kinda bad otherwise
