I really hope that they get a remake similar to Link's Awakening, they're great games but could benefit from a modern look. Minish Cap is also one of my favourites.
While I can appreciate pixel art, GameBoy games aren't exactly the greatest things to look at. Not to mention it'd get the benefit of getting orchestrated music as well rather than being limited by the GameBoy's sound chip.
I've played them on my 3DS, but after having played the Switch version of Link's Awakening I really do think they'd benefit.
Some homosexual here said they were in development. But it's probably bs
Still, seeing the success of the first one why would they stop there
Hopefully that's true, as the remake's success does make it seem possible.
You are the reason we never get anything new.
Yeah, instead we get trash like BotW and it's sequel.
Ah yes, like how the LA remake had such great music that you have to mod the original back, right
>have to mod the original back
According to who? The music in it is great.

That was a downgrade simply for the fact you're forced to use the stick to move. Analogue is cancer and shouldn't be used in anything.
A remake doesn't get rid of the original, it's still there for you to enjoy. Don't understand this mindset at all, as it applies to both good and bad remakes of games.

Baldur's gate
Dark Souls
Link's awakening (play the original over the switch remake) and a link to the past are the best 2d zeldas. Tunic is a recent zelda-like that I enjoyed.
Gameplay-wise, this is practically 2D: Little Big Adventure 1 and 2. I dare say they are better at being Zelda than most Zelda-like, but they are also fantastic on their own terms.
Oracle of seasons/ages

You have to play them on original hardware. My gba micro is awesome on my long business trips. And it's small enough that I don't look like an autist.

The games are fine. Leave them alone, dude.

Orchestrated shit doesn't belong in games and never will.
Also, games don't need remakes unless there was a gameplay issue to fix. Music and graphics aren't gameplay.
Frick off zoomer homosexual.

I would love it if they were to combine the oracle games so you can travel back and forth to Labrynna and Holodrum without having to switch games.
The new Link's Awakening style looks shit. I hate the plastic toy style. It's cheap.
A link to the past
Minish cap
a link between worlds
Alundra

Came to post this, love LA.
Haven't played Tunic though. Really worth checking out?
Glad Ys is on there. More Zelda-like lists need to add the earlier Ys titles.
Survival kids is great.
that willow game looks cool. is it fun?
Four Swords Adventure, A Link to the Past, and the first Zelda

Final Fantasy Adventure is still the GOAT
Link's awakening
Feels like BoTW just recycled the map from LTTP
