Definitely not fricking Grim Yawn, i've never played a more boring game that had this big of a fanbase.
The only positive I can say is it has controller support unlike PC Path of Exile, but the fricking moron devs disable mouse input if you activate the controller because they think it'll give you an unfair advantage to have both a joystick and a mouse working at the same time.
The only people who think GD is boring are PoE zoomers used to deleting whole screens of enemies in one click. Grim Dawn is intentionally slower-paced than that, more akin to Diablo II or even the original Diablo.
not the anon you responded to, but I found it boring because it barely felt immersive, Barely any cutscenes or amazing boss fights, no events you see firsthand you're always just around after shit has passed.
the abilities just arent neat looking like diablo 2 or POE either, I tried to go for a sorta holy paladin theme and theres barely much to resemble that with abilities as theres not that much animations or visual effects compared to diablo 2 with holy bolt spams, hammer spams and the auras, or with POE where you have actual groups of sacred guardians around you. While its like, 2 with grimdawn.
Don't get me wrong I am by no means defending POE as what grimdawn has over it is that you can be a bit more flexible with your builds, actual tank builds can actually tank shit in grimdawn, where as you just die instantly sometimes in POE despite being tanky.
But by the going through the final expansion I just found myself just not caring at all for the world setting or the abilities I could use or even the gear I got.
>Sacred
the first game is my personal go-to if I'm not playing Diablo 2. It has enough classes and playstyles to satisfy that itch, but doesn't look very good. The second one is prettier but I've only played it a little bit. >Titan Quest
a classic amongst the genre lovers, doubly do if you are into Greek mythology, I personally found it a bit boring but people don't love it for nothing >Blade & Sword
this game might be a literal Chinese knockoff with only 3 classes but with pleasant 2d graphics and a lean towards the action side of action rpg (you can do some sick kung fu in it) I cannot recommend it enough
Grim dawn
Thanks
How's Victor Vran?
i kinda liked victor vran. dunno about that grim dawn shit
I've never heard of that game, so I'm gonna say it's bad

Grim dawn fricking sucks don't believe the lies
Torchlight 2 is the best there is.
i personally found grim dawn too... i don't know, cartoony and flashy and mmorpg-y for my taste
i've never seen a diablo-like that managed to nail the aesthetics and atmosphere of the first two games
horrible taste
Try Van Helsing
Top tier Gothic Dystopian aesthetics

I'm playing grim yawn atm and its pretty fun honestly. Needs more hidden maps.
Is Diablo 2 resurrected better than the original?
Its like the same game.
if you don't mind playing early access game i recommend Last Epoch
i bought it last week and so far i clocked 36 hours in ,, the crafting is fun and the "rifts" is very addicting to run
