Star Wars Interworlds on PC , a free mod for X4 Foundations
?feature=shared
it complex though, more like a simulator than a shooter em up
I like how all the space games all basically have Star Wars mods. Makes me think of what could've been if George didn't sell the IP to Yidsney and Lucasarts never shut down and was still in their prime.
>Makes me think of what could've been if George didn't sell the IP
>and Lucasarts never shut down
He would have continued to force people to only do vidya about his moronic prequels and whatever other dumb shit he would have come up with.
Very slightly more sim inspired. Think Freespace 2 or Wing Commander.
It's a shame everybody forgot about teh Avenger, I really like that one more than the Defender.
George let Lucasfilm do basically whatever they wanted. He was very hands off on that and the novels/comics.
>moronic prequels
the prequels are better than you deserve
i really like the pod race scene
Lucas needed somebody just to handle dialogue, because I still think the prequels bombed because of it, especially the moronic shit between Anakin and Padme.
Anakin hating sand because he was born a fricking slave on a desert planet and it reminds him of the hard times (which would have been a great lead in for him going back) just became 'I HATE SAND, IT'S COARSE AND GETS EVERYWHERE'
Lucas needed someone to write a script for him. He's a good ideas guy but writing a screenplay is not his strength, he said so himself. Glaring flaws in character writing, such as Anakin's main reason for his behavior in episodes 2-3 being his mother's death, yet it's barely ever leveraged after her burial. If you only watched Revenge of the Sith you'd have no clue why Anakin acts the way he does, that's how little George leveraged Shmi's death.
I think most people can agree that the overall story of the prequel trilogy is pretty good, but the execution leaves something to be desired. Like you said, Lucas should have had an editor, someone that could say no
actually they're fine if you treat them as silent films
ignore all the dialogue, the story still comes across, and it's a visual feast
agree, but I wouldn't call the prequels moronic, just ... flawed
also the early scripts for the prequels are very very interesting
http://fd.noneinc.com/secrethistoryofstarwarscom/secrethistoryofstarwars.com/thebeginning.html

and so much changed and got cut
Nice, I'll give those links a read. Interesting that the scene where Palpatine gets kidnapped by Grievous actually got co-opted by Genddy for the Clone Wars cartoon and it's pretty good
there's way more cut stuff for ep3
?t=237
>getting squished by an AT-TE in a kid's movie
geez lucas lmao
Saving that video for whenever someone tells me the clones were always intended to be mind-control chipped.
save this too

>1:17
fricking KINO
that catch is insane
btw, nick has tons more lightsaber rehearsal videos on that channel, you can see a lot more of whats going on and various differences like anakin holding padme against a wall
the phantom menace fight is mostly the same, but has some differences
?t=153
Like Harrison Ford once screamed at him from across the set, "You can write this shit, George, but you can't make them read it!"
>the prequels bombed
Critically bombing is still bombing. They were never going to lose money.
The only "critical bomb" was TPM
The reddit letter media fanbase doesn't count as critics.
On what planet did the Prequels bomb?
They’re actually quite heavily praised now. It’s also generally agreed that Revenge of the Sith is one of the best movies in the franchise, if not THE best.
Lucas was a guy who told story through visuals anyway. The dialogue works like the dialogue on silent films in the sense that its mostly just there to provide context.
>uhh you see the dialogue doesn't matter because <cope>
You are absolutely having a fricking lend here. This isn't a silent film, Lucas didn't throw up placards in between each scene, he should be judged by the same standards as everyone else. All he needed to do was hire a fricking writer and they would have been great, I don't think that's an unreasonable idea.
moron
>This isn't a silent film
they are designed like silent films though
He literally tried to hire a writer, but everyone turned him down, saying that he could do it himself.
>It’s also generally agreed that Revenge of the Sith is one of the best movies in the franchise, if not THE best.
kek
common Reddit Letter Media brainrot.
The prequels gave us a lot of cool shit that led to fantastic games
The sequels are both dogshit movies and have no imagination AND no good games
this shit is unironically better than vanilla x4
I can't go back
oh it finally got updated for x4? lit
i've been holding off on buying it because for years the mod was only out for x3
now i have an excuse to buy x4
>battlefront 2 (dice)
you almost had me anon
i'll fricking kill you if you're serious
why have I never heard of this game before? This looks like my ideal game, what's the catch?
>what's the catch?
eurojank
TIE Fighter of course.
One and only. Always.
Is there anything semi modern that can compare?
Squadrons is like a streamlined version of X-Wing & TIE Fighter. But you have to put up with ugly black people, women and DizWars designs. They literally give the game away for free lately, though.
just mod them out
squadrons biggest sin is the absolutely pitiful roster of craft
not really. get modern fan overhaul projects XWA Upgrade and Tie Fighter Total Conversion.
There's too many of them. Dark Forces, TIE Fighter, Episode 1 Racer, Rogue Squadron, X-Wing, among many others.
>There's too many of them
There really is. 1993-2008~ Lucasarts had a hot streak that I don't think any other developer can compare to. Star Wars was a monster IP in vidya.
Then they got some new ex EA executive that went "VIDEOGAMES?! IN MY STUDIO!??" that canceled everything in the pipeline circa 2007.
Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Dark Forces 2
KOTOR2
Super Star Wars
X Wing/Tie Fighter
Rebellion was fun for it's time. I still play it every now and then. The rogue squadron games are great -the onfoot levels in the later games.
Jedi fallen order/survivor arn't horrible.
Give it to me straight bros should I play the old republic? I just want to play another Star wars Rpg if possible
I really enjoyed Sith Warrior in old republic as mostly light side
I had some fun role playing it but the combat is MMO trash and some of the stories are really bland. My personal ranking of the class quests
1. IA
2. SW
3. SI
power gap
4. JK
5. Smuggler
power gap
6. Trooper
7. JC
8. BH
It's possible that I just didn't play the "lesser" quests with an interesting enough angle. Maybe Trooper is good if you play it as Dirty Harry instead of Captain American
Uhm jedi sage???
No, it's absolutely not worth the slog of an MMO format to go through stories that are completely MID at best and don't have any real choices like those in actual RPGs.
this, I honestly can't wrap my head around all the success and love swtor has, as a kotor diehard fan since I was a kid even I didn't swallow the cope pill and started pretending that swtor was a decent or worthy successor in any way
It's because MMO players are insane.
I think you're right about that, at least about the people who play them on a regular basis. They're a bit like proto-gacha morons who eat up whatever is shoveled in their general direction.
The actual answer - the one that everybody doesn't want to admit - is that the ONLY reason Swtor made it as far as it did is because it had female chiss, each of which is a miracle of the universe and the perfect wife. Without these, the game would've died after the first month when the other 99.2% of the playerbase quit and never looked back.
try it, if it sucks then stop playing
play only the purple quests, it is comically easy to overlevel (by following the story guide and just doing soloable stuff I hit level 80, the modern max level, before I even started the first expacs content. if you want you can do side quests but they are not necessary at all
some of the stories are bretty good though I will preface this by saying do not think of it as a pure sequel to the kotor games, think of it as sort of one possible way history happened it will mellow your seething at some inevitable mmo bullshit particularly related to revan. I would honestly buy the $30 subscription just to get the extra race options for character creation and shit and just do the class stories
jedi knight is basically kotor 3 in how the story works, a bit bland but decent
consular is boring as frick until near the end so unless you really really want to be space jesus ignore it
smuggler is pretty good and what you'd expect
bounty hunter perhaps plays the most to your expectations of the story in a good way
trooper is kinda fun if you like movies about special forces squads, but nothing spectacular
sith warrior is fun and especially fun as LS for mindfrickery, DS is fun too
sith inquisitor is fun but you are NOT palpatine, ironically enough you're closer to that as a DS consular, fun to play for your truly edgy sith shocking everyone left and right
agent is usually considered the best story and unlike the others actually has multiple endings that are quite different based on your actions in the story
all 3 KOTORs are good.
based revenge of revan mod enjoyer, what a serviceable demo
If you have buds, yes. If not, only if you want to RP as a chad warrior.
Anything with a speeder/swoop bike level.
dark forces remake soon bros
honestly jedi fallen order and survivor aren't that bad, way to many Black folk but it was a fun game
Eh, it was boring as shit. Nightsister Merrin was the only good thing about it.
No, they're dog shit. Even Farce Unleashed is 100x better and it's an absolute meme compared to Jedi Outcast/Academy.
Jedi Academy will always hold a special place in my heart.
>Jedi Academy will always hold a special place in my heart.
This, especially with the plethora of mods and total conversions. I'm quite fond of revisiting Serenity Jedi Engine from time to time.
Have you tried the VR mod?
Shadows of The Empire
my man, even with all the jank I love this game so much
it was the first time a game really felt like starwars, especially the hoth battle
That AT-ST scared me as a kid.
Same
That fricking tentacle boss fight in dirty water fricked me up
The only game I put effort in to finish as a kid. I don't think I would've kept vidya as a hobby if I didn't. Fricking love this game. The battlefronts were also very good, 2 was fun after they got rid of the micro transactions. I think it is a colossal frick up stopping development on 3.
It was a crappy game really but goddamn back then it was really something to fight an AT-ST in full 3D with sound effects and music straight from the films. And the speed bike level and asteroid field were fricking awesome too. It was basically a graphical tour de force for the time.
This game unironically feels more Star Warsy than the fricking movies themselves
dark forces 1
shadows of the empire
jedi knight/outcast/academy
racer
rogue leader
kotor
battlefront 2 (dice)
star wars squadrons
tales from galaxy's edge
forgot republic commando
He included Squadrons. Not the most sound judgement.
I wrote both posts Black person
and squadrons is kino, especially in vr
You're also a homosexual that included dice battlefront in there and no kotor 2.
>kotor 2
>RPG
el-oh-el
everyone knows kotor 1 >>>>>>>> kotor 2
>Star Wars Rebellion
Was this game good? I was too young to understand how to play.
>star wars squadrons
Immersion was immediately killed when I realized they made the Nebulon-B frigate almost the same size as the X-Wing. Clearly the game was made by people who never watched Star Wars.
Rebellion is pretty easy to learn, I haven't spent a long amount of time playing it to learn its intricacies, but it's pretty fun.
>Rebellion is pretty easy to learn
I get it, I was a moron child, go easy on me please anon
>they made the Nebulon-B frigate almost the same size as the X-Wing
I think the Dice Battlefront games are the only Star Wars games that give scale more than 5 minutes of thought.
Force Unleashed 2 has level entirely inside one and the size is pretty massive.
That one with three tanks and the force harvester that was on GameCube
That's The Clone Wars movie game. It plays like Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike, with tanks.
I skipped it, cause no factor 5
and I also skipped the jango fett game
but given the total lack of starwars games now, I kinda feel like giving it a chance
but first I will play the battle for naboo and phantom menace game
Clones Wars is serviceable, but the best thing about it was the split screen multiplayer game mode. Bounty Hunter is the Jango Fett game, which is great. Gameplay-wise it's like the mid-2000s Tomb Raider games movement and shooting. Good adventure feel to it.
im also going to give starfighter, jedi starfighter a chance
cause why not
lucasarts > 99% of today's slop
outlaws actually legit looks good though, hope it delivers
definitely needs to be a proper starwars game in vr though
vader immortal and tales were like 2/3rds the way to being a proper dark forces/jedi knight game
?t=1338
?t=257
Rogue Leader is uncontestable in terms of fan loyalty
BUT STAR WARS SEGA ARCADE TRILOGY is god-tier in terms of arcade rail-shooty's
Battlefront II 2005 is hard to top
and shame on you anon's who didn't play Star Wars the Clone Wars
IT IS DE-FACTO TITLE by pandemic studios that PRE-DATED THE BATTLEFRONT SERIES
I BET YOU homosexual KIDS NEVER EVEN HEARD OF STAR WARS REBEL ASSAULT on floppy disk the grandpoppy to rogue squadron
yes it was a shit game for 1990's but it CREATED ROGUE LEADER
THE GREATEST STAR WARS TITLE TO DATE
jedi knight II outcast was alright
STAR WARS DROIDWORKS was cool BET YOU KIDS NEVER PLAYED THAT IN SCHOOL
and podracer was cool too for N64 dud bolt and gasgano were my racers
modern games like battlefront 2016 did great with the ship-to-ship dogfights but the ground battles suck ass
>Star Wars the Clone Wars
Star Wars The Clone Wars / Tetris Worlds Costco Xbox bundle chad checking in
I need to rebuy this game because I lost my Gamecube copy, and I refuse to get this version. Much like the Sega GT/JSRF combo.
who the frick thought this would be a good bundle
Dunno, I never played tetris though
Patricians
It would make a good shared present I suppose since if star wars doesn't appear to you, tetris probably would
I know I played the tetris a lot back then but didn't really touch the clone wars game
awww yeah, that came with my xbox
I really loved assault I and II as a kid, II also introduced one of the best Tie variants
I played Rebel Assault II which had live-action cut scenes.
It was actually really good for its time.
All 3 Super Star Wars games.
The Super Star Wars games were great. Too bad the cheats like unlocking all characters for every stage required a second controller.
Bounty Hunter is one of the best and my personal favourite.
Same. Lots of variety in level design and gameplay, plus decent story, with Morrison and Clancy Brown voice acting. The original score was also good when it hit.
?si=3xF10yNGB-4eALZF
you poor dumb kids don't even realize what you missed
rip swg
a great organic game where users build the world and create the experience naturally and as their interests and whims demand
perfection
Fallen Order and Survivor because they're basically Sekiro clones.
Fight system in Sekiro sucks dick then. Frick these games. Jedi Knight forever, homosexual.
The parry/deflect and 1 hit deathblow system of Sekiro is pefect for a lightsaber game and in line with how combat worked in the OG movies.
It was too set in its way for a combat system. You couldn't cancel an animation and was slow as shit.
in terms of overall quality, it's a tie between kotor and the classic lego star wars games
force unleashed would be up there too if it wasn't for the cringe story and the janky character movement
jedi survivor would also be up there if it didn't have dogshit performance, bad animations and the cartoon droid personalities
Rogue Squadron
Kotor
Jedi Academy
Ep 1 Pod Racer
Everything else is optional, but those 4 are the exclusive quintessential StarKino.
Maybe Battlefront, but its a "you had to be there" sort of situation. Can't really re-create an early 2000s sleepover with the boys at 13, but this is the level of Kino we're talking about for reference with those other recs
>Rogue Squadron
rogue leader is 1000x better than rogue squadron 1
you dont even encounter ONE star destroyer in rs1, and it's all made up expanded universe crap, nothing from the films
and the midi music really cheapens the whole game, especially since SOTE and racer had music from the film soundtracks
>made up expanded universe crap
how is this a bad thing? i like having some new battles instead of just being limited to what is in the films. the game has missions for yavin and hoth anyways
>some
the whole game is fan fiction stuff full of AT-PTs and AT-WTs
oh and remember v-wings?
nobody does, they're made up crap!
rogue leader had the best balance, all the best movie bits + all the ships + loads of interesting side stuff
> you know these things in this made up fantasy universe?
> they're made up
legit braincel
lucas canon >>>>>>>>>>> expanded universe crap
except shadows of the empire, which was so good that lucas put the outrider into mos eisley
and was designed by doug chiang who did a lot of the designs in the prequels
you know what I think of your fan fiction?
KOTOR was good. You're a braincel and your opinion is worthless, now unbunch your panties.
Never even heard of Rogue Leader. You better not be lying you little b***h.
>Never even heard of Rogue Leader
you what man?!
They made fricking sequels? Bruh. I need to find some time, to play this somehow.
rebel strike (rs3) isn't as good as rogue leader (rs2) overall, but it has some really neat levels
>Revenge of the Sith game
I need to play that one, it has bits based on early scripts and deleted scenes
some more fun levels
?t=99
?t=32
and some awful ones, with an extra year of deving, the on foot stuff may have become good
?t=48
?t=36
?t=182
>I need to play that one
you should, it's one of the better film tie in games and like you say, its filled with a lot of alternate stuff
the console version of the best one overall but the handheld versions are good too
>Maybe Battlefront, but its a "you had to be there" sort of situation
battlefront is overrated
dice battlefront 2 is 10000x better
you need to mod out the women stormtrooper voices though
>women stormtrooper
ESL-kun...
quiet woman
>the comments
I was so ready for that brit streamcuck to be wokescolding, but I gotta say sometimes the Rian Johnson expectation subversion can be pleasant
those woman screams are so annoying, how can anyone play the game with those in
lucky you can turn them off
https://www.nexusmods.com/starwarsbattlefront22017/mods/6475
Its just reskinned Battlefield 4, and even Battlefield 4 was better despite being worse than every battlefield that preceded it
BF4 multi > all other BFs
it's a real shame EA shot themselves in the foot with microtransactions, they killed the game's reputation and it got so many great content updates after
>BF4 multi > all other BFs
This is the sort of person coming into a thread about video game recommendation to drop his recs
>dice battlefront 2 is 10000x better
>posts epitome of what's wrong with franchise
Allowing wienerroaches onto the internet was a fricking disaster.
>dice battlefront 2
Frick that everything online , no bots except for shitty team skirmish modes. At least dice battlefront 1 had offline walker assault. I like playing it occasionally in 3d with hmd glasses.
KOTOR. Great characters, best plot twist of the history of video games
i hate how underutilized this ip was for games
What should they have done that they didn't? If you're talking about 2008 and beyond that's understandable, but before that they covered almost every genre they could.
was there ever a Star Wars Tower Defense game? Something like Plnats vs Zombies?
thats terrible anon
you want star wars angry birds next?
what do you have against PvZ?
it's basic
they actually made that...
WATCH THOSE WRIST ROCKETS
YOU COULD PLAY AS EWOKS?!
AROOOOBA!!!
I'm playing Rogue Squadron for the N64, is there a way to go back and replay older levels? I got a Silver medal for a certain mission on one save file but i want to redo the mission on my main save file where most of my Silver medals are
Also, i'm looking into playing EaW:FoC, can the game run natively on Windows 7? Is there a way to get mods and updates on pirated copies? I don't like Steam
I am pretty sure you can just press left and right on the level select screen.
Republic Commando
Battlefront 2 (both of them)
Jedi Outcast
KOTOR 1 & 2
JFO/JS
I've played most of the older SW games and nearly all of them feel overrated as shit to me. Not bad but nothing stood out as top tier. Lot of them feel like they were churned out of a factory. The only real kino is KOTOR, for my money it's still the best SW game despite the aged mechanics.
Empire at War - RTS(for space battles, ground battles suck dick even with mods)
Galactic Battlegrounds - RTS for ground battles that are actually good.
Rogue Squadron - Ace combat-like shooters(all of them are fun)
Bounty hunter - action adventure
Kotor 1 and 2 - rpg’s based on dnd mechanics without turn-based homosexualry
Republic Commando - FPS kinda like halo
Original Battlefront 1 and 2 - battlefield, but star wars(large scale 3rd/1st person shooters with vehicles and classes)
Clone wars movie tie-in game(not the animated series) - vehicle combat game with surprisingly fun, albeit unorthodox, controls
Lego star wars complete saga - casual collect-a-thon.
what are the TIE Fighter and X-Wing games like compared to Rogue Squadron?
Rogue squadron is more of an arcade shooter than the others. None of them are really sims.
beedo a best
that's not NEVA KEE you lunatic!
OYA PISTOYA GUEEEERMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS
Me?
I'm a bullseys "annoying and wears anal beads on his head and in his ass" Navior chad
It gets shit on for having the most cumbersome camera in existence, but I liked Force Commander, because being to use TIE fighters and bombers in atmosphere is fricking based
only the tie fighter/advanced/bomber/interceptor in the original trilogy feel right
everything else screams fanfiction crap
>tie crawler
what a joke...
I had a lot of fun with Force Commander, they did some cool things with it. Jank as all hell though
Jank is right, but I feel like it had some cool ideas for the time, given 3D was still in that weird period where devs didn't quite know how to manage it properly.
>Avenger
Good news, Disney basically ripped it off for the new trilogy and renamed it the Silencer
>the tie lambda
Where the TIE Weinermobile and the TIE Moving Van?
>Battlefront II bombed because of all the early lootcrate shit gating progress
>Now all that's removed, it's actually a great game
>But its reputation is so shattered, the playerbase will never recover
ffs, it could have been great
Played it as recent as last year. The only thing it has going for it is visuals, The game is overly chaotic and anti-fun to play.
im gonna rip all the models and recreate some rogue leader missions with them
not letting those photoscanned models go to waste
disney can frick off
All those 'XXX GAME REMADE AND IT LOOKS GREAT!' videos normally sicken me because the game is nothing like the original, but this actually looks good. It's almost 1:1 of the original, with just better models, textures and lighting
I think if they did a 3rd game, it could have been the ultimate starwars game
they only needed to add a few more things like bwings, mustafar and everything people care about is in
but disney got too greedy, so ea/dice decided not to pay the licence fees anymore
one of the only things that was keeping starwars fans happy and profitable among all the crap they did, and disney couldn't just work out something fairer even though it was a win for them anyway
https://www.videogameschronicle.com/news/star-wars-battlefront-3-plans-were-reportedly-rejected-by-ea/
>one of the only things that was keeping starwars fans happy
I'm much happier now that that piece of shit that is ea doesn't have exclusive rights to make star wars games anymore
BF3 literally never ever, in any timeline.
>it's actually a great game
it was still ass to play and card shit was still there
I'm not downloading Dice's shit proprietary launcher to make an EA account, learned my lesson with Bad Company 2.
stop being a big baby
The campaign is also a frothy mug of diarrhea.
It's mediocre, and compared to the original BF2 it's straight up garbage.
>Original game
Horrible to replay today. Played the frick out of it as a kid, but it did not age well at all.
incorrect, I replayed it just a week ago and it still held up.
It's okay moron, you can be stuck in the past.
Wrong image, but Rogue Leader is outright one of the best arcade shooters of all time. We will never get a game of this quality out of this franchise again.
Your bait is bad and you should feel bad.
NuBF2 is actually solid asf, very good balance for capital supremacy. I enjoy Republic Commando, doesn't mean it holds up to shooters released 15 years later.
He's right, jackass. Both RC and the original BF games are still based.
I understand you're dogshit at shooters, but lmao neither of the old battlefronts hold up. Infact, BF2 was worse for deleting air vehicles.
>flight arcade shooters
They're great games but they can't stack up to Ace Combat in this department. They are in second place though, I'd say if you want to experience the best of genre you play all games by Factor 5 and Project Aces.
>tfw we will never get the rogue leader compilation of all 3 games.
>tfw we'll never get to see the spinoff series 'dark squadron' which would've been from vader's perspective and have you command tie fighter detachments alongside firing support from star destroyers.
>all because factor 5's CEO was trying to tiptoe around some bankruptcy loopholes but just ended up screwing over the rights of the game even further..
The core gameplay systems were fricked by design. There's no fixing it.
>No navigation aids mean players are frequently lost on convoluted map layouts
>Mobility is PS2 tier, unable to climb over knee-high obstacles or out of shell craters
>Gunplay is utter dogshit, as is gun variety
>Score-based reinforcement system means that vehicles and heroes immediately get locked in by shitbucket tryhards
>Heroes in general
>Vehicle play sucks
>No conquest mode, closest equivalent always ends up forcing you into a corridor frickfest
Oh and how could I forget
>Star cards
kotor 1 and 2 are the best ones, there are many good ones though like jedi outcast & academy, jedi: fallen order & survivor, republic commando, the old battlefront 2, also ymmv on the two force unleashed and the lego games
Empire at War
A Empire Divided pre CU
The first Battlefront game and the Revenge of the Sith game.
hello fellow millennial, remember that we need to get our prostate checked soon
already did
>Revenge of the SIth
Based anons, game was way better than it had any right to be. Plus, I love alternate endings in games.
Also, reminder to see your parents more often, time moves quick.
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!
still kino though, I can't think of any games now that have any humor in them
Rogue squadron for GameCube
Jedi knight 2 and Academy
Kotor2
Star Wars star fighter/Jedi star fighter
SWG
Original battlefront 2
Imperial Agent on swtor (just buy a sub and skip side quests, cut out all the filler and remove annoyances like enemies aground you on a main road)
if only lucas didn't sell to disney
lucasarts would still be alive and this wouldnt have been canned
this trailer was the definition of a bullshot and i can't believe people are unironically nostalgic for this uncharted looking shit
>bullshot
it was 100% realtime and the average AAA game looks like this now
outlaws makes me wonder if it's a retooled and expanded version of 1313
>it was 100% realtime and the average AAA game looks like this now
the thing you're missing is that the devs did not make a game that looks like that
they explicitly built a narrow 5 minute slice of a game for a presentation and nothing else
it is the video definition of a bullshot, something explicitly polished and overcooked for publicity
>did not make a game that looks like that
because disney and kathleen pulled the plug on it
>it is the video definition of a bullshot, something explicitly polished and overcooked for publicity
a bullshot is when you capture a screenshot at a higher resolution than the system is capable of, and you make it look better in photoshop than it actually is
there's nothing in the 1313 video that was faked
it was a tech demo, the result of ILM and lucasarts combining knowledge to create the highest quality gfx back in 2013 or whenever
eventually lucas changed his mind and wanted to make it a boba fett game
>that video
that is the goyest of slop ive seen in a minute, and you just know people would eat it up too. Frick i despise this formula of game
the boba fett one?
the atmosphere they were going for was good
but not everything in starwars needs to have boba fett in it
and not every game needs goddam parkour
yeah that character is a magnet for the "grounded realism, gritty, 2008 brown&bloom" or whatever you call that type of shit, I can't think of a good description...Then the gameplay is a theme park ride on rails QTE uncharted-like that has been done by 1001 games since 2008 (and was already stale after the first 4), but omg look at the brooding stoic lone wanderer bounty hunter cowboy gunslinger protagonist (who is literally me) perform cool animations and just look totally bad-ass.
IDK just distinctly off-putting watching that and imagining that one onions with the mole weeping tears of joy at how bad-ass this could have been.
Yeah, triggered me.
b-but if they didn't slow the character down with an obstacle, how will the next part of the level load??
catching the guy falling over and running through the meat-locker entirely exists to give a sense of variety and mask the fact that you are basically playing an even simpler pac-man
>you are basically playing an even simpler pac-man
lol
obviously the whole game wont be like that
if doesnt even make sense for boba to run on foot when he has a jetpack
the whole game was obviously designed around the two smuggler type characters in the first demo which is more interesting, it should not have been changed to boba
>obviously the whole game wont be like that
I think anyone who has played video games for the last 20 years and bothers to think critically about them knows EXACTLY what kind of game this is. You could barely even meme a better example of cookie-cutter ubislop
But, hey, if thats your thing I guess everyone is entitled to their own tastes and
You should fricking die
>QTE uncharted-like that has been done by 1001 games since 2008
>not 1313 games since 2008

completely valid
jar jar game when?
It was understandable that people hated Jar Jar, but attacking the actor itself was always so moronic.
i thought he did a better job as a jedi than sam jackson did
and in a way, he got his wish, for jar jar to defend the younglings during order 66
Hang on, there already was a Jedi Master that taught swordplay at the Temple and Anakin cuts his fricking head off
?si=5qg9FfrPxzjxFpJC&t=1026
that's actually the stunt coordinator for the prequels
they actually filmed a fight, but it was rather brutal, so you only see snippets of it when obi wan is watching the holotape from the jedi temple
?t=2341
the whole interview is fascinating btw
ahmed best asked lucas for jar jar to die defending the younglings, lucas said no
but he got his wish another way
He also did this kid's game show where he played the same character
It's pretty wholesome, even if it's a little eerie that later this same Jedi that helped "younglings" become Jedi through fun little puzzles and trials later has to prevent younglings from being slaughtered
https://youtu.be/dF8mT0RMqDA?list=PLXsbMnnbPpLWQpPmTMhp8AqoT_I6Y6khP
jar jar is actually the hero of ep1
lucas' son named jarjar, he just wanted to make his kids happy
Why is there no swg general anymore on vg?
anyone ITT playing swtor?
Vode an homosexuals
Also :
>Bounty Hunter
> The old republic
> Battlefront II (hell, even the new one is pretty cool)
> Fallen Order/ Survivor
I've played other SW games but so far it's the ones I've enjoyed the most
very interesting
KOTOR is the GOAT, Fallen Order is good, and I guess Squadrons and Battlefront 2 are alright. I haven't played many of them.
what are some games about losing weight?
wii fit
Kotor
>be extremely popular
>because of your popularity, appear in TCW (even if its a cameo role)
>Scorch shows up in Bad Batch
>rest of Delta Squad still not seen
>even if they do show up, they'll probably job to Omega
Delta Squad bros....
I'm just fricking mad that Commando armour never gets used in anything else. It's one of the better designs in the prequels
If by "Star Wars" you mean games about Galactic conflict, then Star Control II
post your star wars toons

no, think more like a deus ex game (linear story but choices throughout)

post hot twileks
I try to ignore star wars nowadays, but I still occasionally play pod racer
Battlefront 2 is still the best Star Wars game ever made.
The new one? Frick no
The old one? Kay but give me that feeling with graphics of bf2042 and im set
No bullshit bonus points for spawning vehicles
ALl out fricking space to ground transitions
Of course the old one crazy. It was such an insult for EA to take the name of two great games and give us two crappy remakes. Especially 2 with how it lied about having an Imperial story.
nu-battlefront 2 is good
but mostly if you're a clone wars fan because the prequel era stuff is HEAVILY TCW based, all the VAs are from TCW, skins from TCW, units exclusively from TCW etc
Frick no it isnt its an abomination
The only thing they got right are the graphics and atomsphere
The gameplay is lame
Shooting feels like ass
it really doesnt but okay
gameplay is actually frickin top tier, get gud
You should know most of Ganker is bad at video games.
Anyone have experience with ripping 3d models from old star wars games like Battlefront 2? I was thinking that it would be cool to mod some old maps and make remixed versions of them
I was going to say Empire at War, but I replayed it a month ago and forgot how shit the ground combat portions of the game are. The space battles are cool though. Wish we had more Star Wars RTS games.
Just play one of the mods.
Finished this last week. I hope the rest of legends EU don't suck as hard as it did. Goofy stormtroopers joining the empire becuase of movies of inaccurate Luke lmao
99% of the EU is crap
And its still better than what we got in the past
No
t. Rey lover
Other than a few books, the legacy extended universe is so much better than the new movies it's not even funny. The only thing the movies have going for them are the visuals.
>Goofy stormtroopers joining the empire becuase of movies of inaccurate Luke
I don't know what you're saying.
Anyway Lord Shadowspawn is one of the biggest EU memes. I liked how the war there convinced Luke to resign his commision as a NR general though.
Holomovies of Luke in-universe made him out an emperor sympathizer, it's was all a ploy by shadowspawn to get troopers to listen him when he took over Lukes body but idk why he needed to do that when troopers already listened to him anyway.
Presumably they wouldn't listen to Luke.
Also don't look up the lore on Shadowspawn (AKA Cronal) and gis daughter Sariss.
Only the beginning and the end of this book actually happened, that's why Luke was inaccurate. Shitty book, the rest of the EU is better.
I'm on the X-wing series right now and writing is a lot better and less weird. Darklighter guy is being built up, hope they go somewhere good with him.
I just got all 9 X-Wing books and I can't wait to read them. I read the first one in e-book format before and it was really good, I thought I wouldn't enjoy the space battles but they were nicely written and I loved the new characters.
I thought Shadows of Mindor was okay, probably one of the worst EU novels, but I enjoyed it for what it was.
X-Wing series is great, you get to follow the greatest character ever created in the history of Star Wars.
Yeah, this guy got some development early on. Wedge told him to stop being a loner and he reflected.
Wedge is pretty good in it too, honestly a big fan of the writing in general, but the X-Wing series is also neat because it's such a long spanning series you go all the way through the warlord era to the Vong war so you get a good glimpse of the evolution of the rebellion into a proper government and it's just a bunch of fun, I recommend looking into the Wraith Squadron books as well, they're pretty good.
Is this a good chart? Is there anything I'm missing before going into Thrawn trilogy? I imagine the Leia one is required but what about Tatooine Ghost?
Yeah it's pretty good. It's only missing all the comics which were published, some are pretty good like Vader and the Lost Command or the Republic series. I'd also say the EU got a pretty decent ending with the Legacy comic series which take place about a hundred or so years after Crucible, but not everyone liked Cade, and I don't know if people liked Ania, so your opinion will vary based on what you think a Skywalker should be.
Yeah, I've not heard much good about Cade's stuff. Thrawn is what I want to read because that's where all the compliments are. Dark Empire seems interesting too despite it's mixed reception like Cade's stuff.
Thrawn is going to be top tier, if you think nothing tops it after that's one hundred percent fair. I love Dark Empire a lot too, but I think the plot makes it pretty divisive, and Disney straight up stole the general set up for TRoS, but did it worse. If you end up disliking it, you'll still probably like the artwork.
Dark Empire is fun, the same way The Force Unleashed games are fun, which is to say that it doesn't really fit in with all the other stories and jams Rule of Cool to the max.
The X-Wing books are what I go back to most often, to be honest. They do a really solid job of following a different cast of characters adjacent to the main trio, which is refreshing when virtually every other piece of media in the timeframe has Luke, Han, and/or Leia as main characters (Han does show up for one book to lead a task force).
>Cade's stuff
Legacy is awful.
>Dark Empire
Dark Empire is hacky but it's worth a (digital) flip through for Kennedy's art.
Cade is alright, Aina is literally just Rey.
>not everyone liked Cade
That'd be me. I liked Cade at the start, he was an original idea for a new generation of Skywalker, but after three or four wake up calls and "I have matured and am now at peace with my Legacy" he still acted like a douchebag addict criminal with a troubled past. Story repeated itself so much with it in the end I dropped it and don't even know if maybe the fifth time was finally the charm.
I liked how his story ended, but you can't deny that they try to squeeze what probably should have been a much longer character arc into too few issues. I like the One Sith though, such a cool fricking concept for them, and shows how Krayt really wasn't like any Banite sith, he was more similar to the ones before Bane so it was a really old school style.
>TOR:Revan
be aware that karypyshyn wrote that as a novel to tie together the kotor games and swtor (I imagine the other SWTOR novels are tied into the game as well) and that he was clearly incredibly asshurt about 2
X-Wing has literally nothing to do with Admiral Ar'alani though?
The chick from Outbound Flight?
A miracle of the universe and the perfect wife, yes.
>A miracle of the universe and the perfect wife
We're talking about Tahiri Veila now?
Careful, you might upset the extremely vocal subset of people that seethe endlessly over Tahri grooming Ben.
>sith does sith things
>people lose it
I remember how pissed people were when caedus killed Mara. Actually, I don't need to remember, people are still pissed about it I could find a post somewhere made a month ago seething about it.
>I remember how pissed people were when caedus killed Mara
It's mostly about the fact that authors shouldn't frick with other authors' characters. Not when they're still trying to use them, at least.
I remember Zahn saying he was upset about it.
zahn's always been pretty open with the fact that he doesn't like killing main characters.
Can confirm, still pissed about it.
No, of course not, we're still talking about Admiral Ar'alani, aboard the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet warship Vigilant.
The wireframe arcade game is cool
speaking of arcades
any of you Black folk played this?
I played it and didn't like it
anyone else enjoy the episode 3 game on GBA?
Did you guys know they made mods for nu-Battlefront 2? I'm shocked that people could even mod the game.
They made a huge conversion mod for squad its pretty sick
Dark Forces / Jedi Knight Series.
KOTOR.
Rogue Squadron series.
Empire at War.

No you don't. Not with the current """people""" in charge.
Yes i do

Are you sure?
Oh i'd love that! Please let me be a black twi'lek with an attitude because she's a strong twilek but not too sure of her sexuality
Empire at war, kotor 2 and the one you play a lot like a drop ship during the clone wars but that’s mainly because of nostalgia
Man I miss SWG.
New ubislop sw game is gonna be ass too
Anyone here played Destruction on PS1? It sounds like it has promise but the gameplay I’ve seen doesn’t wow me
only thing i played on ps was the episode 1 game and the jedi power battles
both kotor games
original battlefronts 1 and 2
jedi academy
republic commando is pretty short but is interesting for how different it is

gasgano my Black person
TOYA TOYA PITZTOYA
Give me the good Empire at War mods
also Republic era
Thrawn's Revenge, Fall of the Republic, Awakening of the Rebellion.
So mad we never got heir to the empire as feature length movies
but bro dont you want heir to the empire with AHSOKA, and SABINE, and EZRA, and HERA, and THE MANDALORIAN and BO-KATAN bro?????
the mandalorian started off really cool as its own self contained thing with a bit of mystery, I haven't seen anything beyond season one, and it was pretty rad overall
S1 was sick as frick, S2 was still good but holy FRICK did they drop it with s3
someone at disney noticed they'd managed to make something good out of star wars I suppose
Lol by putting lizzo and jack black into it?
that wasn't in season one, so I think that might be the plausible reason
Thrawn is probably the best one. Also it goes into new republic and new jedi order
ive always day dreamt about having my own xwing
exploring the star wars galaxy
you might try the star wars mod for x4
watched the video
it looks cool but also a bit clunky
i just want...a good open world game
where you create your char
fly around with now loading screens
choose whether to be a jedi/sith/scoundrel whatever the frick
with 2024 graphics
alas....
there was a mod for mount and blade that provided something like that, although there wasn't any ship combat, just travel over a galactic map, with ship combat being boarding actions
maybe there will be good mods for starfield
but all of that doesnt seem as fleshed out ano
I had hopes that Starfield would've at least scratched that itch, or possibly even pave the way to people making a star wars overhaul for it, but it was pretty disappointing.
Just the first KotOR
For me its
All Dark Forces games
Bounty Hunter
Republic Commando
Battlefront (From the original until renegade squadron)
Lego Star Wars the complete saga
Also Disney Star Wars isn’t canon
>Also Disney Star Wars isn’t canon
In no specific order:
Rogue Leader
Rebel Strike
Battle for Naboo
Bounty Hunter
Jedi Outcast
2005 Battlefront II
2017 Battlefront II (co-op mode only)
Republic Commando
Empire at War
Oh, and the original 2 Lego games.
>Rogue Leader
>Rebel Strike
>Battle for Naboo
My man
do we like the lego skywalker saga game here still
yes
I've been playing it off and on for a while
It's fun but god there's so much damn padding in the open world
Also, after I finish episode III I gotta go on to the sequels...
my only saving grace for the ST in the game was the cloning room on exegol and all the side missions related to snoke
Empire at War with RTS space battles where you can OPTIONALLY take control of individual ships like in Battlestations: Pacific, but ground combat like Battlefront. There, I made the best Star Wars game.
nah first / thrid person rpg, open world, seamless transitions, major plotpoint with side quests for jedi/sith/smuggler/imp
>open world
Stop breathing, Ubislop.
moron, star wars is THE perfect world for an open world game done right
ubisoft is incapable
maybe give it to the guys who did the harry potter game
Games are always better when you're doing something significant. You wouldn't understand because you hate actual gameplay.
absolute fricking moron
That's just the x4 star wars mod.
>mod
Key word here. I'm talking about something with more polish.
Most mods are more polished than modern AAA releases. Look at Galactic Contention.
You wouldn't understand the bygone era.
I always thought a FTL mod would be a no-brainer and there is one it's just laughably bad
For me it's OG Battlefront 2, lightly modded of course.
I got to test out this side mod and it's really good, makes the game feel more finished than it was sadly I don't know what happened to the guy making it though: https://www.moddb.com/mods/stock-sides
>still no mandalorian game and no one cares about the series anymore
it's over, I just wanted a comfy game where I get my own ship and can travel the galaxy to bounty hunt, gather new crew members, and improve my ship and equipment
PS2 mando game
what you want is like 60% of fallen order
yeah I like those games, and obviously the kotor games, but I want more of that concept
Hope you people are excited for the new Rey trilogy
Did Jedi frick up SWG?
not everybody needed to be jedi. it was still the overhauls, and to be fair, it was wow
jedi frick up whatever they touch
Last one I played that I really enjoyed was The Revenge of the Sith. It's pretty much what I love most about Star Wars - being a magic sci-fi samurai.
Jedi Power Battles on PS1 will feel super dated by now but I played the shit out of it with a good buddy of mine at his house.
RotS is like a lighter version of Jedi Power Battles, with enhanced visuals.
KOTOR forever.
Some of the best star wars games are games that can be modded into a star wars game.
>TIE Fighter
Only real imperial soldier sim out there. Introduces the TIE Defender, the sexiest starfighter the galaxy's ever seen. It's a flight sim, the likes of which the franchise never revisited until squadrons, which had a story-based campaign and 5v5-focus that couldn't live up to TIE Fighter's cold, impersonal mission-based format or variable squadron control size.
>Dark Forces 2
DOOM Star Wars, good-this-time edition. Cool live-action cutscenes (albeit low budget and cheesy) make the game feel like the first piece of star wars story to come out of its games. (Rebel assault did this too, but those games were ass)
>Rogue Squadron trilogy
Pretty cool rebel-based arcade flight sims. Has its ups and downs but it's probably the closest to Ace Combat star wars has ever gotten.
>Episode 1 racer
Podracer games, I think, are almost always done right, and it's very satisfying to know that devs simply know how to design their levels around players being fast as frick as opposed to slowing down players so that they're able to traverse complex levels. Good track variety, good pod variety, and upgrading is a nice cherry on top.
>Starfighter duology
Perhaps a bit of nostalgia talking for me, but I always appreciated Starfighter. It's another arcade flight sim, this time taking place in the prequels. The first game has you play as an OC n1 pilot who ends up destroying the droid control ship instead of anakin while his pirate friends link up with the naboo resistance on land. The sequel lets you play as adi gallia while she uses a delta-7, and this time you can use force powers and other cool abilities while you play as the other ships. This time adi becomes friends with the pirates from the first game and you primarily go up against an OC mercenary group fighting with the separatists eventually ending with geonosis.
>to be continued...
>who ends up destroying the droid control ship instead of anakin
Actually you just fly in through the opposite hanger and dogfight a merc.
you blow up the reactor or whatever it is after you kill him
Last thing about JO/JA is that if you like them, you might want to check out the Movie Battles 2 multiplayer mod that has a larger community than either game. It's a full-conversion with new, deeper saber mechanics. Personally I prefer the originals but it couldn't hurt to check them out.
>KotOR duology
RPGs that take place thousands of years before episode 4, both of which tell great stories for different reasons. You already probably know everything there is to know about them, but if you don't, you're better off and should check them out without learning more. If you want to play 2, download the restored content mod (yes, it's important, don't let anyone tell you otherwise) from the steam workshop. It fixes a variety of game-breaking bugs and reintroduces significant dialogue and events that had to be cut from retail for time constraints.
>Galaxies
Good MMO. Dead. F.
>OG Battlefront 1
Ultimate random-soldier sim. No heroes hogwash except for blowing AI-controlled ones off of maps with mines. Despite everyone pretending nu-battlefront games are battlefield games with star wars skins, they're not, this is, and that's why it's so good. Vehicles feel significant and weighty, classes feel unique, and maps feel complete. This is it.
>RotS game
Definitive way to enjoy RotS. Satisfying gameplay, cool duels (both split-screen and vs AI), cool bonus missions like one where you play as magnaguards and kill clones, and an extension of the jedi temple assault, which was very nice to see. Also has an alternate ending where you play as anakin and beat obi-wan on mustafar.
>Republic Commando
Halo but Star Wars. Four very different clones make up your squad, and you go through the meat grinder together. Only three different "planets" make the game feel short, but what's there is great. I personally liked the ghost ship levels the most. Also bring back the multiplayer, you fricking hacks!
It was just a side reactor for the shields. But then Anakin nukes the main reactor.
ah my bad
Forgot to mention that the Starfighter games both have co-op elements, with the second game's story mode being fully co-op
>2002 Clone Wars
This time a land vehicle-focused arcade sim (plus the LAAT) jerking off some of the republic army's cooler designs. It has a pretty shitty story but it has a lot of great split screen gamemodes with satisfying vehicular combat. It's one of the bigger reasons everyone loves the saber tank so much.
>Bounty Hunter
THE Jango Fett game. Great area traversal, great weapons, solid story, more of temuera morrison, satisfying jetpack mechanics, and each of the planets feel unique. The only weak element I'd have to call out is the tacked on minor bounty hunting mechanic. You can use a helmet visor mode to look at each of your enemies to check whether there's a bounty on them, see if they're more expensive dead or alive if there is, and kill or tie them up accordingly. It just feels a bit tacked-on and doesn't really do much.
>Galactic Battlegrounds
My favorite RTS. It's literally just AoE2 but star wars, now with flying units. Since it's so old you might need to jump through a few hoops to get it to run, but the Expanding Fronts mod fixes most issues you might have and it lets you launch in either the retail version or the mod version that adds a variety of factions like the Zaan Consortium, Imperial Remnant, and New Republic. It also has a battle for jakku campaign mission that actually feels pretty well done.
>Jedi Outcast / Academy
Arguably the games with the best melee combat of all time, these are the ones that hold up to the test of time the most. I prefer Outcast's story and protagonist, Kyle Katarn, but Academy has a far larger variety of levels. There's no end to the fun you could have by spawning a bunch of dark jedi and having a satisfying fight with all of them. On top of that, they both still have somewhat loyal multiplayer communities, with holiday event-themed maps and all.
To be continued...
>Arguably the games with the best melee combat of all time
phahahaha
sorry but
lmao
phahaha
Based, dunno why I added "arguably"
Empire at War
Coolest space battle simulator in the franchise. Although it only has Empire vs Rebellions (with a donutsteel pirate faction in the expansion that comes with the game these days), the devs went out of their way to make the game as moddable as possible. As a result, there's a massive variety of high-quality mods that add a plethora of factions, units, you name it. There's Thrawn-based mods and clone wars-based mods, halo mods and shipgirl mods. And the bigger a ship is, the cooler it looks when it explodes. The only issue is that the ground battles aren't very good.
>Lethal Alliance
George Lucas's favorite sexy twi'lek simulator.
>The Force Unleashed
It was okay. It's a hack and slash that serves more as a force power porn simulator. Good soundtrack, added Kota, who was a pretty cool guy, and gave the franchise Sam Witwer, who IS a pretty cool guy.
And that's all I guess
i asked this earlier in the thread but my question didn't get answered, can i use a pirated copyof Empire at War to get updates and mods or do i need a purchased copy?
I hate the original Starfighter so much. The game feels like it has no momentum. Ships are more like hovercrafts than starfighters. And the objectives are overly long and boring. Never played the second one on account of how much I disliked the first.
They are hovercrafts homie.
>We never got Republic commandos 2: saving Sev
I'm still mad to this day
People always mention TIE-Fighter, but rarely mention X-Wing Alliance. Why...
>start off as the son of a traderfamily
>get fricked over by rival trader family that is in cahoots with the empire
>join the alliance
>have a cool droid sidekick
So much to love.
Because people just really wanna play as the Empire but that's exceedingly rare for some reason
disney realistically is not ok with allowing you to play as a bad guy in something that's story based with choices
For me it's
>KOTOR2
>TFU (PC)
>TFU (PSP/PS2/Switch)
>Empire at War (especially modded)
>Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga
>Battlefront 1/2
I can't remember the Rogue Squadron games very well but I think they were good too.
Didn't the PS2, PSP and wii versions of the force unleashed have different exclusive content?
PSP is the definitive edition due to having the most content.
So the other bonus content that was not on wii was never ported to the switch version?
The Dark forces/Jedi Knight games are peak Star Wars
this and tie fighter / x-wing
arguably galactic battlegrounds
god I hate Ahsoka so much its unreal
based.
little orange shit is worse than Jar Jar.
I'm sorry, but I can't allow you to have that opinion. Jar Jar is definitely worse.
Frick no.
I'd rather watch Jar Jar getting farted on and gargle shit for 3 days straight than ever have to experience another second of Filoni's special little Donut Steel non-character.
Jar Jar is worse. Instead of just existing, he's trying to make you aware of him at all times. He's the moronic attention prostitute ritual shitposter of Star Wars.
>attention prostitute
He existed for most audiences for like a little over half of one movie and like 1/50th of the next two. He was annoying, but brief.
You're describing Ahsoka here, especially with the desperate need of making sure you're aware of her, seeing as how there is no implication of her to be found in the films at all.
>You're describing Ahsoka here, especially with the desperate need of making sure you're aware of her, seeing as how there is no implication of her to be found in the films at all.
This makes no sense and you know it. Come up with something better if you want the thread bumped.
It makes perfect sense.
You acting like Jar Jar is being pushed in everyone's face in 2024 like he's still Georgy Porgy's little key to everything is what doesn't make sense.
>, he's trying to make you aware of him at all times.
>says he while Furloni shoehorns Ahsoka in almost every timeline (thanks to the time travel)
She shares the same problem with Sylvanas, writter loves his pet character so much it ignores the necessity to let it go
This is why I love Ganker SW threads more than Ganker threads, I despise Ahsoka and that shithole is infested with waifugays who think she's a joy.
>*is the only hero in Battlefront 2 to not appear in a movie*
how does she do it?
her starblades ability was fun to spam
>how does she do it?
Wasn't Kit Fisto the republic version? I think they did it in junction with the microseries / comics where they both had significant enough roles.
Is that Asajj Ventress? Where the frick was she? I played BF2 for hundreds of hours as a kid and never saw her.
DLC for the original xbox
Black person, that's crazy. Even original Battlefront maps?
I would have shit my pants over this as a kid, I'm downloading a partial conversion for the PC port now.
yeah man it's crazy how much stuff almost gets lost to time like that
xbox DLC
the backwards compatibility version has the DLC as I recall, so you can play her on an series X
Lightchucks are OP.
The original Battlefronts, original Lego Star wars, KOTR 1 and 2, Republic Commando and the Jedi Knight games
Empire of war/forces of corruption is the goated star wars RTS, even if ground battles aren't great.
With mods it's got so much playability.
That and Republic Commando
I'm upset we'll never find out what happened to Revan and the Exile and what the True Sith really was, I don't consider SWTOR to be that game.
Something like the Sith in Tales of the Jedi comics I guess, shame we didn't get KOTOR 3.
Korriban Sith were just a forgotten castoff outpost world. True Sith would have an empire deep in the Unknown Regions and be the actual crazy psycho shit the Chiss were always whinging about, not the Vong.
TOR very badly tries to follow this idea by having the Chiss be allied to the Empire (despite being nowhere fricking near them) and later with the Eternal Empire crap.
I always imagined something like that, that the Chiss were always fighting off the True Sith, and that they were the actual Sith species that eventually get wiped out because Revan and the Exile are able to bring in the Republic and the new era of Jedi and wipe them out. I figured it would be a very heroic epic trilogy. The Chiss wouldn't have dealing with the Vong for a long time anyways.
anything released in 2006 or before
Reminder that the Clone Wars was a shitpost war when you think about it.

You cannot convince me this isn't a sequel to Rogue Squadron hastily reskinned because they lost the license. You fly an X-Wing, you visit Tatooine, Yavin IV, and Coruscant. Your character is a Dash Rendar/Kyle Katarn type not!Han Solo. The final boss is a giant super weapon you fly through to destroy the core and then escape the explosion. Everything about it is perfect.
I probably would have liked the game a lot more if it had a sci-fi setting instead of the bizarre WWII technology everywhere. Sure, it's unique, but unique isn't 10/10 flawless by default unless you're a permanent late 2000's hipster.
it is a science fiction setting, it's airship punk
The "40s technology: but with giant robots!" doesn't have me convinced. Other people can like it, but it's not truly dedicated to one setting so it feels like a disjointed mess to me. Gameplay was still pretty good.
The Iron Giant was OK because it's an alien invasion movie.
you should try the first Crimson Skies then, I heard its better than this sequel in every way
>No one has mentioned this gem yet
The US truly is full of homosexuals. Demolition is great.
Did he deserve to be saved?
Rogue Squadron 2. Perfectly balanced, gave me me exactly what I wanted. God damn medaling up was tough.
>medaling up was tough.
Getting anything higher than silver is crazy hard and needlessly time consuming in most missions. That's why they have cheat codes to unlock everything instead of wasting everyone's time and gating most people from actually playing the levels they put effort into making. It was that or spending at least a few more week more in development carefully adjusting the whole medal system to not be miserable.
Arcade Trilogy
Lego Star Wars TCS
Jedi Survivor
KOTOR 1 and 2
Battlefront 2 2005
Why the frick are the Super Star Wars games so low?
He probably couldn't beat them
>Disney-Marvel shit and cartoons on high tiers
homosexual hands made that image.
She's based when it comes to porn. Shit in everything else though.
No, she is far worse. It would have been ok if she stayed with her shitty show, but she has been shoved in more shit than she ever should have been.
Are there any cool/cute critters?
This guy seems alright
why did he do it?
neat image, i might try the others when i've finished KOTOR
The ones with the ships.
Are there any full Star Wars conversion mods/modpacks for ground/non-space combat?
Warband has a really comprehensive one but it crashes like crazy
I'd tried looking for some in Minecraft but they're always just "Minecraft with SW weapons", same thing for Skyrim
Maybe something like Arma 3 but i'm too moronic to do custom stuff myself
the mod for squad looks real good, been thinking about buying the game just to try it
THREAD IS STILL GOING?!
maybe Ganker isn't lost after all
>maybe Ganker isn't lost after all

All I want is a good star wars game where I can fly my favorite ship: ARC 170
I'm pissed we never got a new rogue squadron like game where I can fly it. I saw gameplay footage of Battlefront 2 where you can activate the rear turrets but the space battle mode looks ass
>but the space battle mode looks ass
get glasses c**t
It's Racer for me.

Is the KOTOR remake still going to happen?

Will there ever be a good game again?
