I played BG3 up to the Druid town and it was stupidly boring. The only thing good about it was the visuals and normalgays will excuse anything else about a game so long as it has good visuals so I assume that's why it's so beloved by the masses.
I don't know what's releasing this year besides DD2 and Space Marine 2. Maybe the new Jet Set Game will come out this year but I doubt it. Unless something big gets announced and release this summer/Christmas 2024 will probably be overshadowed by 2025 by virtue of it having GTA VI and possibly the next Nvidia generation as well.

And even that one (TotK) long term if given a choice between it and it's predecessor you should choose BotW because you'll get more play time out of it since it's not been killed with linearity bullshit.
