Nothing romantic about it. Zelda cares for Link in the confines of the story, but not romantically. Nintendo is too scared to just say that they love each other. I get you really like this ship, I do too, but Nintendo does not support it in this game unfortunately. I really hope they realize the audience is mature enough to accept it next game.
