What are the worst final bosses ever?

What are the worst final bosses ever? I don't mean things like Gradius ending with a deliberate pushover, I mean ones that are just horrible to play from a gameplay perspective or simply a massive letdown.

For me it's the Bowser bosses in Mario 64, they're all basically the exact same and are dull as well. The first two Bowser fights are over in ONE HIT, and the final boss is over in THREE.

Final bosses in Mario are always garbage sadly. I mean, let's take SMB3. It's a true classic, truly a masterfully crafted platformer, such a joy to play. And then there is the final Bowser fight...

Yeah. I remember playing Mario Galaxy for the first time. I was actually confused that the Bowser fight was the ending. I was presuming there was going to be something else it was so trivial.

The Galaxy 2 final fight is even worse.

don't know if it counts really but true ogre in tekken 3 is a fricking joke.
cortex in crash 2 as well.

Cortex in Crash 2 is the only one I can say was even worse than that. I couldn't believe it.

tbf most of the crash bosses are pathetic, more monotonous than anything

        N. Gin is the only real exception.

Silent Hill had some awful boss fights. RE3 was just dumb with the way you had to fight Nemesis.

Fricking Dark Link from Zelda 2. You barely made it through the Valley of Death, then you somehow managed to survive the Great Palace, then beat a tough boss, and after you finally barely did it they toss that random motherfricker right in your face. There are no legit tactics for him - you either cheat by crouching on the left edge of the area and spam stabbing (which isn't intuitive and is likely an overlook) or just spam stab untill one of you dies. Complete randomness, and likely not in your favour. Frick whoever came up with this shit.

At least they start you at the beginning of the dungeon and that fricking bird stays dead even if you save and load your file

Tatanga in SML and arguably, Bowser in SMW.

SMW bosses are a joke, Bowser at least is harder than every one of the koopalings, big boo and reznors

Oh man, I invite you to watch Arino try to beat him if you haven't already.

Yet another Mario game, and for me the absolute worst. Galaxy at least had great build up, excellent music, incredible presentation. This crap was so rushed that it makes no sense. We were just in a volcano, where did it go? I suppose we're above it, but it doesn't look like the island is below. Why is Bowser even here? Why is he in an acid hot tub? Why is this boss so boring?

I personally love Sunshine but I can't deny that the final boss is laughably bad.
the worst part is just how painfully easy it is. both eely mouth and big boo were more challenging, not that those bosses were hard to begin with either.
it's like the entire corona mountain portion along with the final boss were nothing but an afterthought. at least that's how it feels.

(also, is it just me or does bowser VA sound similar to vector's one from sonic heroes?)

I know this isn't really retro but I thought Brock from Dead Rising was kind of lame. The fight with the tank right before was fun though

Depending on how many unarmed attacks Frank unlocked by then, Brock is either a joke or a brutal opponent.

i mean it's thematically fitting i will admit but i hate chasing this fricking homosexual
and the lines repeating every time you get hit
apparently you can just crouch to avoid his bald bull attack which does dummy damage but i didn't know that the first two times i beat him
granted it was kinda my fault for trying to punch him during that instead of running to the side but still

Objective worst is probably some bad shovelware on Spectrum or something, but for me the most disappointing personally was Jafar in Aladdin for Mega Drive.
It was just a tiny, lazily put together sprite of his cobra form and it's basically just spam attack to win.

I remember throwing apples at him while he wasn't even on the screen because it's impossible to come near him without tanking a ton of damage
