Then don't go to the other planets, you whiny baby. The point of the 1000 planets is to provide the grand scope that the game is going for, grounding the player into the universe as they are planets you can go to and aren't limited to just a few theme park areas.

All these pretty landscapes, and nothing about the game itself. If I wanted a nature documentary I'd go to YT and look for David Attenborough.

It's a Bethesda ToS/Fallout style game. They're all the same so, it's not as much about what I expect but what I already know we're gonna get. And underwhelming engine with obsolete graphical quality with all kinds of performance issues, and glitches. The gameplay will be 6/10 average, with clunky animations and controls that feels more like some quasi-turn based game rather than a FPS / TPS game. As for the RPG and content, it will be massive big rng generated planets with nothing worth exploring, with shallow characters and shitty dialogue. And you will spend the vast majority of your time grinding various kinds of trash loot until your inventory is full, carrying that back to village to sell, rinse repeat.

And that pretty much sums up the whole game. Then modders will come along and barely make the game playable. But from the start people will praise it like the second coming of Jesus. After all, an open world sandbox with nothing worth doing in it seems to be what they want these days so, it's gonna sell like the hottest shit there is.

btw New Vegas has the best guns out of all these RPGs. Despite animations and models being aged, the models have a lot of moving parts that get interacted with during animations. Not to mention all the ammo variety.

The problem is Bethesda got old, and lazy. And don't really give two shits about delivering a quality game. Instead, they're content shoving out the same recycled shit every few years without any meaningful improvement. The peak of their innovation is poorly integrating popular mods into the base game. None of their games feel like they actually enjoyed working on them.

The GOTD, but more like Game of the past Two Decades, past 3, 4, or maybe even 5 decades would be even more accurate, but of course, Bethesda will smoke even Starfield with Elder Scrolls 6, and of course Fallout 5 which will take place on a 1:1 scale of Earth in the Fallout universe, where you can start anywhere in the Fallout universe, with full freedom and choices.

Todd just cannot stop delivering Magnum Opus, after Magnum Opus as technology progresses, and he is given more freedom.

And 100009 planets that are randomly generated with 99.9% of them being empty and is better?

Yes. That sounds like space to me. Can't wait to build an outpost on some random planet far away from anyone and anything and mine resources while I watch the sun set. Sounds way more fun than being funnelled down a queue line for a theme park ride "main quest" with a spacey looking sandbox.

Hope you get radiant events where random ships land at your planet and you can decide to go full GET OFF MY PLANET or do some light trading. Probably not though.

It's better than the 3D Fallout / Skyrim lockpicking game.
