shit, this might sound pretty generic, but does anyone know the name of an RPG Maker game, I think it might've been created by a japanese dude, it's sort of the traditional stuff where there's the adventure town but you go exploring deeper and more dangerous places? had some horror vibes to it with its difficulty, I remember the art style looking pretty unique, sort of sketch like but not black and white, it had a brownish tint to it I think

splaterhouse rpg is pretty good.
there are a handful of horror elements in games like black souls and magical camp too. Not sure if I can recommend either though. The moe or e-girl art of black souls 1 and 2 is off putting given the sexual nature of the game. Magic camp has a lot of tg sex stuff in it.

if you like gothic artstyles, alice in wonderland, rosen maiden, etc, you'll probably really like this game.
I played it over Halloween and enjoyed 95% of it until it overstays it's welcome by just an hour or two.
It's like playing through a haunted house ride, well worth the $10 it sells for.
