More transformation shards, legit only one in the entire game.
Clothing changing appearance, beyond the Valkyrie set, and the Shovel Knight set (which is utterly useless), there's no actual clothing/armor that changes Miriam's appearance.
Expand the alchemy system, add a way to fuse for better ingredients earlier, having to wait until the ass end of the game for perma buffs is a massive waste.
Make food better, not just for perma buffs but also for temporary buffs.
The farm for crops early game was massively wasted, and should've been made to include more exotic crops. Not just corn, rice, and potatoes.
The hunt for monsters quests isn't the worst, but could've been better. Maybe add random quests for more money and supplies, and/or for hitting milestones for monster slaying overall.
No. The only goal they've really added was the randomizer mode, which was heavily neutered and also still often leads to crashes or softlocks.
505 are slow to work on completing the few remaining goals, as everyone has already bought their copies, so "free" updates don't benefit them.
I hope they learned their lesson with the first game that at some point, you need to STOP making stretch goals or you'll be stuck trying to fulfill them for far longer than you should be.

COTM 1 and 2 were excellent. I want COTM 3 to completely take things to another level.
Beat it for tbe first time just last week. >smaller, more concise map. Too many areas in RotN are just a room or two before a boss battle with nothing to really do there >make crafting optional, rarely feels like you're rewarded with good gear for exploring as the game progresses >make weaknesses and resistances actually relevant >better shard balance, ones like the grinder knight with fast dps just trivialize any enemy including bosses >better graphics, I'm not a graphicsgay but the game is straight up just unappealing to look at

For variety if anything. Don't they dare leave Miriam behind. Love her. But it'd be a poetic journey to have one game with Gebel as the antagonist, one to save him, and then you flip it.

i was playing some Valdis Story and it made me think, i would really like more Metroidvanias with skill tress and skill points you can assign on each level up, they could do that to increase the amount of builds you can have

Bloodstained suffered from poor game stability, questionable performance, and imbalanced visuals.
But ignoring that I really do think the game stands on par with the best of the Metroidvania Castlevanias.
I do hope Bloodstained will both continue and continue to improve.

To make a modern game. Bloodstained plays like a PS1 game, with PS3 graphics, that struggles to run on a PS4.
