I just want it to be fast and release with OLED variant right from the get go. I don't give a shit about anything else. Keep the drifting sticks for all I care it was always easy to take apart and repair it or replace with third party ones.
>buy launch switch >pay $300 >get to cfw it and enjoy games for 7 years straight all at launch
>wait till it's on the fricking deathbed >maaaybe get a sale at $250 >all holes patched, better pay up for games goyim >everyone else already played everything so no discussion and multiplayers are all dead/full of 10k hour neets
damn i just bought an oled switch last week too. should've I waited? i never owned a switch before and looking to just play online stuff like splatoon and mario kart 8
I just got finished playing Dead Space at max settings 60 fps and the battery lasted around 7 hours.
I can also play Arkham Knight at 40fps with ~4 hours battery.
>backcompat >similar battery life to the oled model ~6 hours >1080p oled screen by default (probs won't happen) >power similar to ps4pro >a big 3d Mario title as the launch title
I just want a bigger, better switch. No gimmicks.
x86 simply does not compete with arm
Deck is over twice as big as Switch with a much larger fan and still runs moronicly hot with much worse power draw. Deck regularly will reach 90s while Switch barely ever goes over 50C.
For a more recent comparison, the Odin 2 with a gen 2 snapdragon is half the size of the deck, runs cooler, has double the battery life, double the performance, and is cheaper.
Just wait until windows is back on arm. Then we'll truly start to get kino handhelds. The odin would be great if it wasn't chained to android. What's the point if I can't play steam?
I installed Win11 ARM version on VM on my M1 MacBook to play Noita. Runs pretty fricking well and I have just 8Gb RAM because I didn’t buy a Mac for gaymen
Steam Deck - Runs PC games, Android Games and Switch Games. 3 Million sold.
Odin 2 - Runs Android Games. 15k sold.
Sometimes it's not just about raw power and price. In a better world the Odin 2 would be more versatile, but we aren't there yet.
Also fix the eshop so that one publisher can't keep releasing new editions of all their shovelware to keep bumping it to the top. They fixed the $0.01 shop exploit real quick.
A dock that has eGPU in it for a better console experience, also an optional more expensive pro dock that can do 4k >inb4 posts saying how it's technologically impossible
I don't care.
Based on some patent fillings I really hoped the switch 1 would have had eGPU in the dock. Imagine the switch disabling the internal GPU to use freed up thermal/power headroom to boost the CPU and then a beefy GPU in the dock.
I just hope it has a solid launch year lineup, I've been disappointed by the switch for most of its lifetime I want them to stop being complacent and try to recreate 2017 again
Clamshell.
bing bing wahoo
Oled screen by default, better UI

OLED screen by default, thin framed even bezels, not too big, powerful enough for games like Dragon's Dogma 2, has all big 3d party games on it
I will wait 7 years to buy it just like the Switch, frick buying the first versions of any nintendo platform.

Here's your switch 2 bro
Too big
That's what ur mum said to me last night m8
>m8
American website, pal
Not enough battery life.
But enough about the switch
Switch's battery is better
>switch
4.5 - 9 hours.
>steam deck
1 - 2.5 hours.
Not the same pal!
>Not the same pal!
also not the same performance and library, sadly
I just got finished playing Dead Space at max settings 60 fps and the battery lasted around 7 hours.
I can also play Arkham Knight at 40fps with ~4 hours battery.
too many cancer fumes
Frick off with your generic aliexpress handheld of the day.
That's a steam deck, not a cheap Chinese piece of shit moron

5nm 25W SoC with airjet cooling.
It's not using x86 trash
What does node, power and cooling have to do with architecture?

I think you have the wrong guy I never wrote about the steam deck. I just hope for a 5nm 25W SoC.

Sticks that don't drift.

A bit ago Nintendo filed a patent for different control sticks so maybe.
Video games.

A new Mario Kart? Yes, I will do Time Trials and play nothing else

I'll probably get a Switch 2 to play cheap Switch games.
I just hope it has a solid launch year lineup, I've been disappointed by the switch for most of its lifetime I want them to stop being complacent and try to recreate 2017 again
